Hello, Brothers and Friends..

I sadly broke my favorite slide last night and I am in desperate need of another....

its called " The duane allmans slide " and I bought it off of ebay a year or so ago...

its suppost to be a exact replica of the coricidin bottle thats brother Duane used...

I have tried about every coricidin replica I have come across but nothing so far has compared to the duane slide...

all the replicas ive tried thus far are a little to tall and thin for my liking..

the duane slide was perfect... can yall please help me find another one

Is this one you're searching for?

If so,

The Delta Slide Company:
P.O.Box 774.
Greenville,
MS 38702 - 0774

is the manufacture, however, I don't know they still make this replica or not.

I found this pic above from following Japanese URL.
http://www.j-guitar.com/sp/sea/view_detail/s16270248.html

And it says they have 50 of stocks. Price is 2,625 yen, almost $26. Shop name is "Hit's Guitar".
Try to mail to info@hitsguitars.com

Their URL is

http://www.hitsguitars.com/

It's currently under construction but most of the info are written in English.

I use brass. It's much more durable.

Hey Skydawg8, Keep in mind that if the slide is being shipped from Japan, shipping charges may be rather high.

I recently discovered the ceramic slide, which may be my new favorite. This particular one is the Joe Perry slide (from Aerosmith). It's a bit bulky, but I use it on my pinky and I like its weight and smoothness. I haven't dropped it yet, but I;ve dropped a few glass ones and they have miraculously survived. I hope this ceramic slide has some durability. I have preferred glass to brass in the past, but I'm always trying out new slides. I think it also depends if I'm playing acoustic or electric.

You haven't lived 'til you've sliced open your hand when a glass slide breaks on your finger . . .
