Has anyone tried this yet? Did you like it?

I like Diet Dr. Pepper better than any other diet beverage, but still have to complain about the "aftertaste" from the artificial sweetener.

I tried a Cherry Chocolate today, and wasn't that thirsty, but still thought it was pretty good. The best part is the chocolate after taste that over powers that "diet" twang.

I know that artificial sweetners are suspect to several claims of being un-healthy, and causing cancer in lab rats, save that for another thread please.

Easily the nastiest pop I ever tasted.

Your mileage may very. I don't like any of the Dr. Pepper varieties, though I do like the original (diet).

My favorites are the Coke Zero line, Vanilla, Cherry, Original, in that order.

After quitting sodas last year to ease my acid reflux, Man I miss me a Cherry Lemon Sundrop something fierce. To hell with diet anything! I don't drink or smoke anymore. I should be able to eat or drink (non-alcoholic) whatever I dang well please, but ... alas that is not the case.

Coke Zero is the most non-diet diet drink I've had

I have tried it, but kinda didn't like it.

I like the diet cherry vanilla though. And I like regular diet dr. pepper.

I try not to drink too much soda. I will only drink diet occassionally because I can't handle the sugar. But the artificial stuff is allegedly not good for you so it's in very small quantities.

Yeah, I think you really do have to watch it with diet sodas. Diet Coke was my "crack" for a long time, but I finally had to give it up back in January. Cold turkey.

It was the excess caffeine that did it for me, but I really think you have to be careful with the artifical sweetners.

Believe me, I LIVED on Diet Coke for a long time. When I got up... had to have one... had a bite to eat... had to have one... basically any excuse possible... had to have one. It reminded me of my friends who smoke, so it was probably an addiction for me. It was just about all that I drank.

Anyhow, not sure how that relates to Chocolate Cherry Diet Dr. Pepper... but, as they say, "everything in moderation." I now enjoy a regular 7UP every once in awhile. Probably not anything wrong with enjoying a diet soda every once in awhile as well.

Had to try it...it was O.K. but not good enough to buy again.

For me it's Caffeine Free Diet Coke or CF diet Dr. P. I think the CF Diet Coke has better taste then the regular DC. Coke will tell you though that removing the caffeine doesn't alter the taste. I beg to differ!
