Great show, great weather and wonderful friends. Very chill crowd. We were very close to the stage with plenty of room. The band was tight as drum. Love this band. Great Hard Rain's Gonna Fall. Fine sets by Mule, Grace Potter and The Funky Meters. Spent much of the evening with the inimitable Mr. and Mrs. Yankweed. Love you guys. Levon was wonderful at the Beacon Friday night. What a weekend.

Warren did not sit in. Nobody did and the way this Phil lineup is clicking right now they don't need any guests. As much as I love Warren and he is my favorite musician, Larry Campbell and Jackie Green and the whole band for that matter are playing very tight like a well oiled machine. They are really freakin' clicking big time. Both JG and LC are so versatile and master so many instruments. You never know what you're gonna get. I for one was glad to see no guest appearances last night.

Oh how I wish that Phil and Friends lineup were playing Mountain Jam instead of Ratdog.

I watched it on the internet and was thourghly impressed with Mr. Green and Mr. Campbell on their interpretations of Phil's music. It was one of the best versions of Cumberland blues I have ever seen. And the Unbroken Chain, which I usually don't care for, was great despite the fact that phil sang, lol.

You are quite welcome Sue. I hope they do this for more of those festivals this summer. I'm pretty sure they do it for Mountain Jam but I will be there.

Mrs. Yankweed really looking forward to seeing you and Mr. Yankweed again soon. Maybe Donna Jean and the Tricksters? Love you guys. Thank Susea for the kind words. I hope we meet up further on down the road. Maybe the Beacon or Wanee. Where do you live again Susea? I'm here in sunny South Florida

My wife and I had a great time. Warren was unbelievable. We also liked the band RAQ.

Langerado was a great festival. All good people. No cops. Lots of good smoke.
