I thought the word was that it would be a full summer tour for the Brothers.

A "full" summer tour is a lot shorter than it used to be- a few dates up and down the East coast and maybe Pittsburgh and Ohio- there's plenty of time for that in June and the end of august, early September... at least with Derek's schedule. It also fits in with the Mules dates announced so far.

Also playing 5/4 at JazzFest, the day before NYC.

I remember some talk of something medical-related re Gregg. May have something to do with the schedule. Hope he and the rest of the guys are doing great.

Milwaukee, Summerfest 7/4/08. Maybe we'll get ABB, Govt Mule, DTB, and Oteil & The Peacemakers like we did 3 years ago. Could we get that lucky again?

...I just went to the Summerfest website and there are several headliners listed there for various dates but no headliner so far for 7/4. Let me be one of the first to start a summer tour rumor & speculate that we'll have ABB as the headliner with a complement of the other 3 ABB family bands. I'm never right about this stuff. Let's hope this is the time that the blind squirrel finds the nut!

I am in for MSG and believe this can be a killer show. I have seen Santana well over 15 times since 1978 and swore I would never see him after seeing him at PNC a couple of years ago when Macy Gray opened up. Too much of the Rob Thomas crap. But my wife dragged me to MSG two years ago and he was tremendous with a great band. Lots of jamming.

With Derek, this really has a potential to be special. Regarding the summer tour, the Allmans usually hit PNC and Jones Beach during the 3rd week of August and I think that will be the case this year. I am skipping the Beacon for the first time in years as a protest (ridiculous price of tickets) and will probably hit a summer show for the first time in years. My feeling is that it has to be with another act to sell tickets and it looks more and more like it will be with Phil and Friends.

Mmmmmm, tasty nugget.

Jazz Fest is gonna be so freakin cool this year. My focus is on the club shows this year. Hell, I wouldn't even be stepping foot onto the horsetrack if Stevie weren't playing.

Any news for Europe

A fall date for a Derek & Susan Soul Stew in London UK would be cool

Ohio was skipped last year... hoping for a show this year but not holding my breath...
