Anyone started a day out like this recently? If you haven't you might try it soon, 'cause it's been an awful nice morning. Start with a full pipeload of some primo smoke. You know the KIND. Then, put on this GREAT CD: Sounds of Summer: The Best of The Beach Boys. Turn it way, way up. You will land in Nirvana soon. This is the best Beach Boys collections I've found. Let me count the ways (not everything, but my faves):
California Girls/I Get Around/Surfin' Safari/Surfin' USA/Fun, Fun, Fun/Surfer Girl/Don't Worry Baby/Little Deuce Coupe/Help Me, Rhonda/When I Grow Up (To Be A Man)/In My Room/God Only Knows/Sloop John B/Wouldn't It Be Nice/Do You Wanna Dance?/Heroes and Villians/Do It Again/Darlin'/I Can Hear Music/Good Vibrations

Don't let the sounds of your own wheels
Drive you crazy
Lighten up while you still can
Don't even try to understand
Just find a place to take your stand
And TAKE IT EASY

That sounds like an awfully nice morning. I don't think my boss will go for it. (He probably wouldn't go for me posting right now though either).
I really like the Beach Boys albums SURF'S UP, HOLLAND, IN CONCERT & CARL & THE PASSIONS - SO TOUGH... Although I actually love most albums from SUMMER DAYS (AND SUMMER NIGHTS!!) (65) through about IN CONCERT (74). But that SOUNDS OF SUMMER comp is really good too.

reminds me of college.
My freshman roommate was a big Beach Boys fan, would turn his tapes on every morning.
I don't remember him playing much else.
I grew tired of the Beach Boys. But Now I can dig it again.
I have the "EndLess Summer" compilation on vinyl. a really clean copy I found in a used shop
A+ condition and still has the poster. I was gonna sell it on EBay but I can't pull the trigger on
good stuff. We could use some of the Endless Summer on Monkey Hill, very cool and calling for
2-4 inches of snow tonight.
Enjoy the day Rob
