With Eric and Stevie playing My Mind is Going Through Some Changes seems a fitting tribute.
RIP Buddy. Another gem gone.
That's what my Mama warned me about - you know you're getting "up there" when the people you are friends with and the people you admire pass on.
Rest in peace, Blues Man.

A big loss indeed for the music world -- RIP bro -- thanks for sharing your music -- glad you got to play on that version of Wasted Words w/BO, Gregg & Johnny Winter

Buddy was truly instrumental in helping Hendrix feel comfortable with his music again, after burning out on the Experience! Buddy brought his great style to so many different bands. Thank you Buddy!

Yea, what a bummer man. He was dripping with soul. Use to see him quite a bit when he played with the Jail breakers in Omaha. Last time I saw him was about 2-years ago at club in Omaha. During the break me and him sat outside on the sidewalk and had a nice talk one on one. He told me the strat he was playing that night was one Jimi gave him. He was a natural, singing, drumming, playing guitar, song writing. Peace to him and his family.

Wow, really sorry to hear of Buddy Miles passing. Buddy definely had soul, and I certainly enjoyed him playing with Hendrix. I think that if Hendrix would have lived that between the two of them, that they would have come up with something really sweet. To bad it never happened. RIP Buddy, you were definely a real deal musician.

Sad. I just watched the VH1 Classic albums Jimi Hendrix. Buddy was on commenting on some of the tunes and jams.

He loved Jimi dearly and kept his spirit alive in his shows. I'm thankful to have seen him twice in the last 6 years in Telluride.

RIP Buddy, I know the jam you and have Jimi on arrival will be epic.

I think maybe the first show I ever went to was Buddy Miles at The Music Box in downtown Omaha. A dump of a place that had my parents known I'd gone to that part of town, I'd still be grounded today.

Buddy was a BIG man and he really could pound the skins. It was in the summer, and the club was under air conditioned, if at all. He had sweat rollin' off him like Niagara Falls.

Always thought he had a really nice singing voice.

He played with a lot of giants, Hendrix, Santana and many more.

He had a lot of personal problems and spent time in prison but I'll remember him for the better things. Still think his cover of "Dreams" is way wonderful.

RIP, Buddy.

We listened to Band of Gypsies on the way to Macon Sunday, didn't we Road Dawg? I made the comment that I htought BOG sounded so much better than Experience.

R.I.P. Buddy. Tell Jimi hello for us.
