The Derek Trucks Band is scheduled as a headliner for the Desert Rocks Festival , which is just outside Moab, UT. The festival will take place Memorial Day Weekend (May 23-25). This is a small festival that has been going on for a couple of years. Loooks like it is growing a bit this year. I used to live in Utah and have spent a fair amount of time in the area that the festival is located. It is set in an absolutely beautiful location. Very close to Arches National Park , Canyonlands National Park, and the Colorado River.

Hands Down Man. dTb and many others over three days for $75 USD vs. tell me again the going rate (on average) for the Beacon for lets say a three night stand?

Hell, I might rent a house boat AND a ski boat and spend the week on Lake Powell in Glen Canyon - TALK ABOUT A BEAUTIFUL VENUE. The Beacon vs. Lake Powell, Arches, etc, etc.

anyone making the trip to Moab?

The weather looks like it couldn't be any better and the line-up is solid.
