I know I'll be at a few. :-)

I am glad to see a bunch of festivals. I also like that they are going out west. I would love to go to the Vail show. Man I love that place. The whole thing, all the mountains, so beautiful. I was so thrilled to have driven through them too when I went to Utah. And I love the Belly-Up. Anyone know what that means, Belly-Up? LOL.

That Arizona one also looks very interesting.

I have no idea what the Vail one is. Is it a festival or a club show??? Anyone know?

All I know about the Vail location is that it's an ice arena.

Deb, you were right! That picture of Warren and Levon is excellent and by Dino Perucci but Ang posted them for us all to enjoy! Thanks Ang!!

Peachygurl, Mule has a way of winning you over for sure! Been catching Warren solo since the mid eighties and Mule since the "Birth"

Info on the Vail concert.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You're welcome about the photos. Posted some in Warren section and some in the ABB on Stage section.
There's some more but it is a slow process as I have to upload each one individually. I thought the photos section would give an opportunity for many, many fans to enjoy them for as long as the site stays up.
susea, i know what ya mean, they are very addicting! i have liked warren & the mule for as long as i have know of them, but a few years ago i really started digging them more. my husband was at a job site one day & this guy sees him wearing an abb hoodie & strikes up a conversation with him about it..well, as he told the guy, i am actually the abb fan, he was just wearing my hoodie! so the guy & him become friends & turns out he's been following warren since he started out & he sent me a whole bunch of old shows from warren & gov't mule....so i started listening to them more & more & now it's a daily habit! we ran into the guy at the show in october & after that he sent me even more shows that he had gotten! the rest is history! in fact, a few weeks ago i was listening to them on my ipod & my husband says "enough mule already!" lol! never! he does like them but not really his thing! oh well, his loss!
LMAO!! What a great story!!! That guy is very good to send you the shows. That's what gets the ball rolling and the word out down the line...now about the husband, at least he doesn't mind you getting into it!! LOL! Hopefully in time it'll all sink in for him too!! If you don't mind me asking, what music does he like?
Hey Matt, no word yet about summer dates but am keeping a keen eye for updates as they trickle in...stay tuned!
yeah, i really owe it to him for lighting the fuel on that fire...gotta share music where ya can & trust me, i try, but it amazes me most people just don't have the love & passion for music that keeps your soul shining!
Well, my husband, Steve, & I have different musical tastes for sure. He likes metal & edgier stuff. Like his favorites are metallica, megadeth, pantera, Godsmack & aerosmith. He definitly knows a lot more new music than I do and due to his upbringing loves 50's & 60's be-bop/do-wop stuff, go figure! I am more into music like abb & extensions, southern & classic rock...anything 60's & 70's, but where we totally meet is the blues. We both love the blues, be it old or newer stuff. We do like each others music to a point & go to a lot of different shows. I know that my obsession for ABB & extensions is annoying to him though, but he wouldn't ever try to change that, it's who I am!
I am almost certain that Mule only performs on one date for most, if not all, of these festivals.
I had gotten an email about this but after reading an entire page, I just thought they were referring to Mule from years past. Good to see them lining up the shows.
I'm sure you are correct on that one appearance per fest thing, Angela. They are just starting to announce a lot of these with partial lists of performers and no set schedule information. Believe DTB is scheduled for both the Allgood and Rothbury, also, which is making me wonder - what about summer ABB dates? Will there be a tour?
You know, ABB is playing most of May so I can see them taking off June or July or August and still choose some time during the summer to do a run. Lana said in a mailing there was gonna be a summer run, so I believe that, with the help of God, there will be. :-)
thanks for the kind words susea & angel...you already rate high in my book just for being mule & abb fans!
Steve is ok with warren, the mule & the abb, but he gets tired of them because i can listen to them endlessly! he is not into the dtb but he does like derek as a guitarist & he really likes susan! he doesn't like mike mattison's voice at all & doesn't really dig the "world" flavor the dtb play.
yeah, ya gotta accept people for who they are & if someone can't accept you for who you are, then ya really don't need them in your life anyway right?! ya don't have to be the same to be friends...or more,cuz then that would be boring! Steve & I are similar in a lot of ways but different enough that it keeps things interesting for sure!
Nice post Peachygurl!
I can see how your husband favors Warren and the Mule over DTB if he's more into the heavy side of music. I just love it ALL!!
me too Susea, it'a ALL good! it's sad though because not really anyone around my area seems to be into these bands...or at least the people I come across are few & far between. I have a huge ABB stacked logo decal on the back window of my car & I also have the stacked logo tattooed on my arm (with Derek's signature inked on next to it!!!) plus I often wear a black leather vest with the stacked logo embroidered on it, so sometimes people will comment to me "oh i like the allman bothers...yeah, ramblin man, midnight rider!" and I love to go to shows & you can see who all the true fans are by who knows the non radio stuff! There is a whole new world out here to discover, people just don't usually dig deep enough!
