Summer of '00. That was the first tour without Dickey, but Jimmy Herring was on hand and he did his job well. Saw them at Jones Beach with Hot Tuna opening. I didn't care for LOAN ME A DIME but I am sure other people like it.

I saw the ABB at Charlotte in '00. What a hot show! I loved Loan me a dime! I wish they would bring that one back for sure. I would also love to hear some Hourglass tunes!

They really need to bring back Loan Me Dime. That song rocked in 2000!

Love this show

Yeah I have about 15 shows from the summer of '00 and the NEVER cease to amaze me. They are on fire on that tour. I loved "Loan Me a Dime" and wish they'd bring it back as well. That particular show is great, but it's probably not even my favorite from the tour.

9-22-00, 9-23-00, star lake, red rocks, konocti, what an amazing stellar summer. one long thrilling jam. we were getting the discs in and out as fast as possible - it was like watching someone go from walking to sprinting to flying to teleporting, in real time. how exciting!

One of the first shows I ever got here....on cassette. I probably got more shows from 2000 than from any other year. Pretty magical to these old ears. By the end of the tour, Derek, Jimmy, and Otiel were really confident, moving the band in a new direction.
Some didn't like it....worked for me big time.

This was a great Sunday afternoon by the lake...first time to see the Bros. back in Toronto for me since the 7 Turns tour in 90. Jimmy & Derek were an interesting combo for sure, but I like Herring with Widespread now more than with ABB. Warren,Woody (& Matt) also sat in for the first time since 97, Mule was in Toronto to play the next day.

isalala, if you'll PM your address in the next hour or so, i'll send you TWO copies of the nicely remixed and not as easy to find as some 9-22-00 show.
i had several versions of this, this is the one to have. in fact, i'll send you two copies of that - because i have 'em sitting here, and a copy of 9-23-00. these two are one long show.

just send the other copy of 9-22-00 to someone who'll spread it, OK?

whoops - can't find 9-23-00 - we're packing stuff up for renovations and althouh there are 7 million other shows in that box, i can't find 9-23. it's pretty easy to get a good copy of though.

Props to Jack for curing my summer 2000 tour fever!!!! Thank you brother!

And thank you ron-e for your generous offer. Sorry I didn't see it until after Jack hooked me up.

I was telling Jack in PM that the one show I saw that tour was just loaded with smiles and good vibes from all the band members on stage and that you can totally tell that vibe was consistent with the rest of the shows.... Great stuff!!!!
