mad:

How come only Anerican Express Gold members are aloowec to get the best seats??????????
What about the common man? We've been following and paying for ABB to exist for 40 years.
Why can't the band have its own presale seats service like Ratdog and Phil and friends?

Also, $150 a ticket?????? Are you guys NUTS. It's not like were going to only ONE SHOW!!!!!!!!!!
I usually go to THREE at the BEACON. That's almost $500 for the run. Come on guys.........We also have expenses and family that don't understand the need to see you guys 5 to 10 times a year for the last 40 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Complaining aside, I'm not sure what's being complained about.

Were the first 10 rows reserved for AMEX Gold Card owners?

I didn't think so.

I actually have one of those cards, nobody told me anything about that....

Still $150 a ticket is outrageous. Mule, Ratdog, Phil NEVER charge more than $60.

I don't know about outrageous for NYC, but I agree enough to say I won't spend that much on a single ticket for a single show.

$150 is still a great bargain for the Wanee weekend though...

This was only for 10 rows - rest of tix were under 100 and prices were pretty much consistent with last year on those. And there was a presale for fanclub members. The AMEX presale is in addition to (and after) the fanclub presale (and offers a discount on ticket price). If the 150 is too high - try for a ticket in row 11 or in loge/balcony. And have a nice day!

First of all everyone (perhaps not) knows that AMEX presales hardly, if ever have access to good seats. I try them all the time at MSG etc and it's always 200 sec, 300 sec etc. The one exception for me was the upcoming Clapton show, scored a great seat but that is the first time ever after checking out AMEX presales for many, many years.
Also, you can see the ABB for $60, you're just not going to be in the Orchestra. If you want a great seat cheaper wait for the summer shows, far more accessible.

NO WAY I'd sell my tickets. It's way too much fun at the Beacon..plus I stressed about the presale and the passwords and whathaveyou..glad it's behind me now.
