Hey Dansod,

This was discussed at length yesterday, so I'm just copying and pasting the answer:

Hey there sweet family,

I also posted this in the Guest Book:

They speculate on tickets before they receive them, i.e., advertise in advance based on what they think they're going to be able to get. We monitor those sites too and, trust me, void any orders of Peach Corps tickets we find that have gotten into their hands. Imagine their dismay when they *think* their order has gone through, confidentally advertise a specific seat, and find out their order has been cancelled. I imagine it too ... and laugh.

As much as they are maligned, props to TicketMaster for voiding any orders we tell them to.

Take care and know that you are loved,

Lana

Speculation game. All ticket brokers do this and the same condition occurs with all concerts and events that they sell for. They are guessing that they can get x number of tickets in certain choice sections. They pre-sell these tickets (at a markup) but may not actually end up with these exact seats. Orders are filled by providing a 'suitable' alternative.

sorry to be the bearer of disappointing news bobbostern, but you haven't been a member of the site long enough to be in on the presale. presale info went out already & if you weren't a member of the peachcorp by 12/31/07, you aren't included.
