Just wondering, I just joined last year and some local friends can help out in many different ways during a concert season.

jamcam....NO WAY, I live in Farmington Hills. Im only 24 and went to Farmington High, that is pretty cool. You got any shows lined up? Here are the ones I plan on:

Jan31- The Muggs, Mt Clemens

Feb1- North Mississippi AllStars, St. Andrews

Feb8/10- Detroit Winterblast Festival: CHECK THIS OUT, FREE!!.
This is always fun for anyone, kids have tons of stuff to do, and drunken ice skating is always funny. The bands Im looking forward to are:

BUMP (bumpgroove.com)- This band is sweet, but they need to loose their techno loving lead man. They have a Pink Floyd sound, and two of them claim Allman Brothers thier fav band. But the music will stretch out into almost full blown techno, and guitarist is AMAZING and he is worth watching.

Echoes of Pink Floyd (pinkfloydtributeband.net)- Ive seen these guys a bunch of times and they are great. They plan 2 sets and can rock out every instrument on Dark Side. One guy plays electric/acoustic/12-string acoustic, steel pedal, sax, keyboards, and sound effects.

The Jam Society (myspace.com/thejamsociety)- This band is comprised of young teenagers, most notably Ari Teitel. They are pretty dam good for 13yrs old, and one of Ari's favorite band is the Allman Brothers. SEARCH "ARI TEITEL MICHIGAN THEATRE" ON YOUTUBE, HE GETS SENT ONTO THE STAGE AND THEN JAMS OUT.

Feb16- BB King!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You going to any of these?

I'm gettin' up there (44 w/two little girls) and don't go to too many shows anymore unless I'm shootin' 'em, mag, but I just started making contacts for a new series called "JamCam Live From Detroit" that I'm producing locally for Comcast's Concert TV On-Demand, so I very well may be attending quite a few forthcoming. As a matter of fact, we're just days away from confirming Robin Trower (at the Royal Oak Music Theater in March) and I've got proposals into everyone from the North Mississippi Allstars to Adrian Belew, so we'll see what happens here over the next few weeks.

Ever shoot any video? Gotta play it straight while we're working, but post-shoot coctails not a problem.

Tom Ledermann / Director, JamCam Chronicles / jamcamdvd.com / (877) JamCam1

P.S. Yes...heard of/have talked to Bump, and was actually going to contact them regarding the On-Demand thing this week. Jam Society, too, but figured they're more-or-less a "novelty act" considering their age & I gotta be judicious about what I send to air on Concert TV. Think they're good enough to put on the tube?
