HERE IS SOME INFORMATION ON DEREK
SAVANNAH APRIL 2 & 3RD
JAZZFEST MAY 4TH AND MUCH MUCH MORE!!!

READ ON!!!
The Derek Trucks Band is proud to announce a spring tour with Santana for April! It will be an honor to support Santana's tour and it's bound to be an exciting collaboration. Derek has gotten to know Carlos over the last few years and the two share a lot of musical interests and influences. They're both excited to spend time together on the road and we can't wait for the tour! On-sale ticket info can be found on the DTB Tour Page. Some shows are going on sale as early as this Sat(1/19) so jump on tix early!

We're doing some New Years house cleaning at the DTB online merch store and we're offering a 30% off sale on many items in the store. For anyone spending $35 or more at the store we'll also throw in a poster of your choice while supplies last. The sale begins today and will run through the end of January. Go to the DTB merch page to see what items are currently on sale.

The Savannah Music Festival is coming up in April and in addition to a Derek Trucks Band performance on April 2 Derek will also be involved in a performance titled "the World of Slide Guitar" featuring Jerry Douglas, Debashish Bhattacharya, and Bob Brozman. Jerry and Derek have collaborated in the past, both on stage and in the
studio, and whenever they get together it's always special. Derek has been a fan of Debashish for some time through his love of Indian Classical music. Debashish is a world renowned musician and Derek is very excited to finally get a chance to play with him. We've been hearing great things about Bob Brozman as well so it should be a night to remember.

The Derek Trucks Band will be returning to Jazzfest in New Orleans this year with a performance at the Fairgrounds on May 4. There's always a stellar lineup at Jazzfest and spontaneous collaborations are inevitable. Start to make your plans for the second weekend of Jazzfest now!

For those of you in New Jersey, Scrapomatic featuring Mike Mattison will be playing the Brighton Bar in Long Branch on Feb 16. Go check 'em out.

Well, that makes it easier to decide which weekend I'll go to JazzFest.

DAMN!! Already booked my flight to Jazzfest for second weekend, leaving SUNDAY AFTERNOON ! Here's hoping that Derek books a Saturday club gig. Three months to go and I'm majorly excited to return to Jazzfest. This will be my first since Katrina.

wont' be doing Jazzfest this year cuz I'm hoping to make it to NYC. If Derek doesn't have to leave New Orleans to be in NY on May 5th, you can almost count on him surfacing to play somewhere around town that night! Those Derek shows after Jazzfest are the ones to catch for sure!

I'm happy to see him get a spot at the Fest.

As a first weekender this year, kinda hoping Derek (and Susan) will be somewhere around town a little early.
