I spoke with Denise O'Brien earlier tonight and she asked me to post this for her.

She is just totally overwhelmed with the outpouring of support that both she and Cami have received from so many kind people here. She just couldn't believe that so many people who didn't even know her, or their daughter Cami, would step forward to help them out.

I explained to her that had the same thing happened to any of us, Bob would have been first in line to help in any way that he could.

As you might imagine, it has been a very stressful time for Bob's girls. Denise said she wanted some time to clear her thoughts and to decide how to proceed. She has just now begun responding with personal notes to those who have helped and have shown their support and generosity. She intends on responding to everyone that has so kindly helped them. That will take some time.

So, she wanted me to let everyone know how very deeply she has been touched by this family that would step forward to help her family. She is truly and sincerely amazed by the response of so many wonderful souls that make up this family.

I am so very proud of each and every person that has helped in any way. It makes me proud to call you my friends.

Bob was one of the most truly amazing persons that I have ever met, or, will ever meet. I think of him each and every day. I truly believe that he is aware of what this family has done for his.

No matter what some folks say, this IS A SPECIAL PLACE.

So many of you have such good Hearts.

I try to explain this place to other people, but unless your part of it...you can't understand.

Thanks, coot, for sharing these conversations with Denise. She and Cami have been very much on my mind and it's good for them both to know they have an army of people out here who support and care for them. With all that I know she's been facing I was quite touched to receive a note from her the other day - God Bless Bobo's girls.

Bob certainly did more for me than write a check, it was the least I could do.

Just wanted to bump this up.

Several very kind souls that have helped out Bob's girls have asked me about checks that hadn't cleared yet.

I probably didn't do a good enough job of explaining but only this week has Denise actually cashed them. She wanted some time to pass so she could clear her thoughts and start making some decisions about her and Cami. So, if a check hasn't yet gone through, it will soon.

Denise is also personally writing to every kind soul who stepped forward to help them out.

On a personal note, my personal thanks to everyone. Those that had the privelege of knowing Bob, like myself, will tell you they've never met a finer person, a more caring person. Bob would have been the absolute first to help any of us, so, it is a wonderful tribute to him that so many, and especially those that may not have personally know Bob, would see fit to help his wife and daughter.

I can't think of a kinder act. It's like others have said, it's hard to explain this place, this family, to others who aren't a part of it. But all this kindness toward Denise and Cami again illustrates what a wonderfully special and unique group of souls make up this extended family. It fills my soul with joy knowing what a great bunch of people are connected through this home. I'm proud to be even a part of it.

All the very best to Denise & Cami
I sure miss brother Bobo -- & at the same time envy & am pleased about the special place he now is in
Free of pain yes, but without his girls and his girls without him -- a toughie
It's late
Goodnight & good wishes to all
P&L bro -- you are missed
