whats up ya'll....I was just wondering if anyone could clue me in on a couple real good Mule shows from the past few years that I can buy on mule.net. Im from the Detroit area and just bought the 1999 Taylor MI, acoustic show and the 10/29/07 Royal Oak show(was there, Larry McCray is god). Im a big fan of slow blues and Mule hits like slow happy boys, banks of the deep end, dont step on grass, i shall return, and all the sweet-ass covers they do. If there is a specific "bluesy" show that eveyone likes, or multiple kickass guest appearances, ect. LET ME KNOW. Thank you.

ps: I am in the minority that thinks Dickey playing with Kid Rock is sweet, having something to do with me being 24 and from Detroit I guess. I'm telling you people, I saw him sing "Real Mean Bottle" with Bob Seger last December during the encore of the first show Seger played in over ten years here. The crowd went nuts and he actually CAN SING southern rock songs, whether his music is substantial or not. Also, at the Skynyrd show last spring Kid was there drinking beer and hanging with fans all night, until he hopped on stage and did "Sweet Home Alabama". I understand why people dont like his music or whatever, but he is a cool dude and that is going to be the biggest show of the year here in D Town. Besides DTB, ABB, DB&GS, and Mule of course.

i know that during the deepest end tours audley freed often guested which was really good, another show in winston salem alvin youngblood hart opened and joined for three or so songs. this was really good a bluesy. i think this show also had catfish blues (which i think mule has only covered 2 or 3 times). i think the dates are '02 or '03.

good luck on your search, but it shouldn't be too hard.

panicstream has 12 mule shows from '94 - '06 which might help.

12/31/06 Dub Side of the Mule (w/Toots Hibert & Gregg Allman/Friends)

10/31/07 2nd set is Zep's HOTH in it's entirety

Those 2 should rock your bones for awhile to say the least.

I don't mind a bit of the reggae thing, but it has been a bit too much for me lately. It's not something I'm particularly cranky about or anything though.

Oh yeah... And I meant to comment on the shows. I've bought a lot from 2004-2006 and there weren't really any I was disapointed with. I only bought 2 shows from 2007 and they were excellent too. - In particular I thought the New Years Eve 2005 shows were incredible. All 3 of them.
