Clapton, but will have that out of the way soon, like 2-28!
Dr Ralph Stanley.
Earl Scruggs. I need to hurry up on these last two.

Steely Dan - been a fan since day 1, just never had the correct opportunity to see them.

Widespread Panic - with so much good music in the world, I've never become a hard-core fan. I like everything that I've heard. Kind of afraid to be the "geezer" in the crowd.

I've been pretty lucky to see many of my favorites over the past 35+ years.

Would love to see Dire Straits together again. Failing that I'll settle for Mark Knopfler. Would also love to see a Pink Floyd reunion that includes Roger Waters.
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
Peter Gabriel
Rickie Lee Jones
(As always happens with these type of lists - I'll probably think of somebody else soon )

I have never seen but need to see:

Elton John
Aretha
Norah Jones
The Kinks or Ray Davies
McCartney

Elton did a couple of shows at the Tabernacle about 5 years with only a 5-6 piece band a that was 85% material from 1970-1974. Nearly 3 hour show. My friend went and said it was off the charts good. That's the type I'd want to see!

Until recently, Ben Harper and Alison Kraus/Union Station were on that list but I'm very glad I can now say I've seen them.

ABB current line-up
DB&GS
Greg Allman Band / Gregg Allman & Friends

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
Bruce Springsteen (but not at current ticket prices)
John Cougar Mellencamp
Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush

All except The Boss hardly ever come to Europe.

Well maybe Dickey......

Not many and unfortunatley won't see: The Marshall Tucker Band, Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Beatles and the original ABB line-up. Finally covered Zeppelin in December.

Last year at JazzFest I checked Steely Dan, Van Morrison, Bonnie Raitt, Rod Stewart, Jerry Lee Lewis, Dr. John, Counting Crowes, and The Radiators off my list. There were more great artists I've not seen, but you can only be at one stage at a time, although I did leave the Counting Crows show to go see someone else, don't remember who. I chose Rod Stewart over Nora Jones just because I think there will be more opportunities to see her than him. I highly recommend that anyone who likes live music check out JazzFest in New Orleans. This year it will be the last weekend in April, and the first weekend in May. The line-up hasn't been announced yet, although the Neville Brothers are returning to New Orleans to perform for the first time since Hurricane Katrina.

I'd still like to see:

Mark Knopfler
Bruce Springsteen
The Rolling Stones
Norah Jones
Otiel and the Peacemakers
Lefty Collins and The No Mercy Band
The Tommy Gallagher Band
Dusty Sommers
The Jerry Miller Band
Tom Petty
Paul McCartney

Led Zeppelin!!!!!

I have seen Plant a few times live and I saw Page with the Crowes and each show was great, but to see Plant, Page, JPJ, and Bonzo's offspring together on the same stage would be very special. I have pretty much covered all of the other living musicians I have wanted to see live.

I think the best you can hope for now is a partially reunited Floyd; dude just died (didn't he?).

For me:
John Prine
Zep
Stones at a small venue only (like Beacon ~ movie will not suffice)
Always curious about Stevie Wonder, if it'd be awesome or just a waste
Young w Crazy Horse (have seen w/o)

FWIW, I highly recommend Ravi Shankar and Peter Gabriel; 2 shows that blew me out of the **** ing water and I had no right to expect the impact, if it ever comes around to you.
