That's the one right BEFORE she gave me a smile. This is how small the fraction of a second was that I missed the moment. I'll see if I can dig up the other one when I get home from work and show the before and after.

Wow!!! Very impressive photos. I wish you were sitting by me at the Mule NYE show. Many were trying, but I haven't seen any results like that yet.

I'm sure Mule shots will turn up - there had to be credentialed photogs at the Mule show (I wasn't shooting from my seat, these are w/ photo pass).

We were fortunate to have Josh and Tracy there. Haven't seen Tracy's surface yet. Wonder if Tamera was at the Mule?? We know Tami is way out West! Love the photographers in this family!

Great photos Josh! Thanks for sharing!

Something no one has brought up yet- Derek is playing an unfamiliar Gibson SG in that first picture (at least unfamiliar to me). You can tell by the tremolo arm sticking out to the side of the tailpiece. It also looks like it might be an original '61 by the discoloration. I could be wrong but it looks like it may be something new.

I bring this up also because when we saw Soul Stew at Wanee this past spring (their first time playing) Derek played Duane's Gold Top for Walking Blues, which seemed to be marking the show as a special occasion. I am wondering if this may be the case with this SG on New Years Eve?
