ClayPelland posted this on the "get well Gregg" thread on 12/22

I talked to someone yesterday that's in the ABB organization, and he said Gregg is doing just fine, and is going to be just fine. His words were he was down for a moment, but back to kicking strong!

There is some info that addresses this on the home page...

"Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster internet and phones will be automatically refunded. All other tickets will be refunded at point of purchase. Information on purchasing tickets for the 2009 Allman Brothers Band's run at the Beacon will be announced early next year."

Ang found this new interview with Warren and talks about Gregg!!

http://www.patriotledger.com/entertainment/x223007316/Warre n-Haynes-leads-Govt-Mule-to-the-South-Shore

Q: Just to switch gears, here, Warren, it’s been kind of a jarring year for Allman Brothers Band fans given Gregg’s illness and the cancellation of the annual March Beacon Theater residency in New York. How is Gregg’s health these days?

A: Gregg is doing great, and I know he’s really excited to get back on the road. We all are, and we’re looking forward to the August tour.

Q: Since ``Hittin’ the Note'' came out in 2003, I’m sure the Allmans gets a number of questions about further new material from the band. Anything you can say to that?

A: I don’t know how quickly we’ll get the band into the studio again with everyone so busy. But there are new songs floating around right now, yes, and we may even get to playing some of them this year.
