Really excited to be seeing Govt Mule on 12/28 and thinking about skipping Keller Williams. Wondering if anyone out there can give me some good reasons to see him as I have heard very little about him.

I saw Keller Williams opening this summer for ABB/Ratdog.. kind of a one-trick-pony IMO with the acoustic guitar and gimmickry, maybe a shorter set would be OK. I would pass.

I will pass on Keller and pray he does not come out w the Mule. He loops his guitar and got famous w all the Cheeseheads. Irritates to think about.
Sat w Tea Leaf Green should be good though, Have had good times w them before.

I've really tried to like Keller Wms, but he always just ends up annoying the sh!t outta me.

| I agree, I have tried to like Keller, and have now seen him about 3 times. He is tough to take. He was a major bore at the Gathering of the Vibes this summer. I will also pass, and stay at Yogi's or Blondies. ____________________

So I will skip him. Have been to the Beacon a million times but have never drank in the area. Any cool places to check out in the area for something to do before the show?

DON'T Skip him. you paid for it, go see him.
i heard MANY people remark that Keller was one (of the many) highlights at Wanee 2007.

Try Westside Brewery on 76th & Amsterdam. Decent pub fair, good bar scene, cranking MULE all night long...

Go see Keller--Really entertaining--his songs are funny--& u won't believe that its just him and him only thats making all that good music up there!
