Hey, eco, if you (and anybody else) would like to email me at jamcamupdates@sbcglobal.net with your name/order# and/or anything else (address) that might help us track your order, we'd be more than happy to confirm for you that it's en route.

Hey, everybody, I've gotten a few emails from folks wondering why some have received their Wanee DVDs but they have not, even though they pre-ordered at the Festival. First, BIG thanks to those of you that did order in advance, because without you, there is no DVD. As far as delivery status, all I can really say is that ALL pre-orders (right up to those taken this past Friday) went out on Saturday, but, unfortunately, we have no control over how long the US Postal Service might take to deliver a package to any particular address. So, while I do apologize for the fact that some of you have yet to receive yours, I can assure you it's not for lack of effort on our part. Please hang in there...I can't imagine it'll take more than another day-or-two for everybody to get theirs.

Again, if you'd like to shoot me an email me at jamcamupdates@sbcglobal.net with your name/order# and/or anything else (address) that might help us track your order, we'd be more than happy to confirm for you that a label was created/she's is en route.

Thanks (again) for your patience & support.

I am down to track 10. Been watching it here at work. I can still remember that strong wind that blew thru and then the night long rain which started just after the ABB show. Talk about perfect timing. That rain pelting down on the tent all night long made me sleep like a baby. Stayed dry too. Then while leaving looking down on the big stage and the lake that formed overnight in front of the stage. Makes me want to go back soon.............Great DVD.

We have had some great DVD's lately. I hope this trend continues.

Glad you're enjoying it, rottin...bringin' back some memories, huh? I had a "day job" shoot early Monday morning so had to split (long trip back to Michigan) right after the Sat. night ABB set, but heard about the rain from one of my crew...sounded like a doozy!

It's great- love the Scrapomatic stuff...first time I've had a chance to see/hear them. Great DVD and a nice breath of fresh air after the Mule DVD fiasco. (not to mention nice seeing people wearing shirts/bathing suits as I look out at a foot of snow).

I sure hope it's put together better than the new Mule dvd. I may order it if someone can convince me that the audio isn't maximized as high as possible and that there isn't any sync issues...please someone; convince me. I want buy it and be happy.

the audio is almost exclusivley SBD... so very nice, but sometimes a little dry for my tastes... but it gets very hard to mix the appropriate amount of crowd noise in with a live performance... I MUCH prefer them like this rather then too much distracting crowd noise

the video is pretty good... Not Songlines Live quality but very nice... but they also don't have that horribly annoying constantly moving camera angle like Songlines either (Bonus for me there)... I didn't notice any sync issues but I wasn't looking either...

I'm really glad I picked it up and wouldn't hesitate to get it again...

Peace
Ross

Can't speak to the Mule DVD, you two, since I've yet to see it, other than to say that I'd LOVE to produce their next one (or better yet document the 20th annual Xmas Jam next December!) but I can assure you, in regard to the JamCam series, that over the course of 14 DVDs we've yet to run into sync issue number one.

Thanks, Ross, and good assessment. Wish we had budget to offer more than soundboard, but like you said, at least it's clean. And, while I'd love to kick the cameras up a notch-or-two as well (ala the Songlines set) I do like the "film-look" of the Panasonic DVX series, which we'll continue to use until someone is willing to invest (like Sony does for Derek) in what we've to offer. Who knows...maybe we can make it happen for next year's Xmas Jam?!?!

Thanks again, everybody...SO glad you're enjoying the show!

Finally took it home from work to watch the rest of the DVD. Susie and I sat and watched the interview parts of the DVD. One of the phrases used, cant remember who said it, was the part about HITTIN THE NOTE MAGAZINE.............explaining their coverages on "bands that are not popular but GOOD". Susie looked at me and smiled and said thats it isnt it. I said what???
Thats what you have been explaining to me the last 2 years we have been dating isnt it.

For someone not familiar with the family of bands surrounding the ABB's it can be rather confusing. I would always listen to the bands I had read about in the magazine. Friends
who were around the music, would always ask............who is that.....never heard of them..
.........Damn they are GOOD......later I would get a call, where can I get that CD????
I really enjoyed spreading the word. The magazine made me a music guru so to speak with my friends............When really I didnt know squat. Just passing on what I had read in HTN. Thanks HTN.

I always here folks say about bands. "I don't get it". Or I finally "Got it".....Well last night, Susie, though she has really loved all the bands I play from HTN said...............
I finally Get it!!!! She didnt realize the close bond all the fans build between each other.
All the good vibes, She didnt make it down to Wanee last year, where my daughter and myself made it down for the first time. After watching the DVD, and seeing the sights, the people, the bands, all what Wanee has to offer..............you made her a bigger fan.

So now, she wants to WANEE........................................and you know what???
I do too.................She is going to work today and marking that Thursday and Friday OFF
TO WANEE!!!! on the vacation calender. See you there!!!

AHHHHH LIFE IS GOOD!!

That is a very touching and heartwarming story, rottinpeach. Turning people on to good msuic is definitely our mission at HTN, and it sounds like we're doing a good job!

That's HTN Editor John Lynskey who says "We make sure never to confuse what is popular with what is truly good." A mistake that is made far too often in today's music scene...

I have to take a minute and thank Tom again for the well-edited, generous segments on Hittin' the Note in the Wanee DVD. We really couldn't ask for better PR, and we appreciate the love!
