Hello music lovers..Its Daniel from Sweden..If anyone remember me..The guy who almost daily posted things about Grateful Dead here on the forum..Im great and me and my girlfirends son is soon 7 months old..Time is moving so fast!!His name is Anton and he really begins to like music..Everytime i play ABB he smiles and when i play The Dead he cries sometimes.. LOL.. He likes Ripple,Brokedown palace and the more gentle jerry songs but one day when i put on a rousing version of One more saturday night from 72 with Bobby Weir screaming at the end,he cried so i put the record off..But the band he really seems to lkke are Big brother and the holding comapny..He sat in my lap and i watched Ball and Chain with Big Brother and Janis from Monterey Pop 67 and he was just smiling..
hope everyone here are ok.. cheers from Daniel in Sweden

When my wife was pregnant with our daughter, we always had ABB or GD playing. She's 4 now, and every time we are in the car and I put either band on, she falls asleep immediately.

Well, except for Black Hearted Woman. That gets her jumping around the room like a pogo stick!

greetings Daniel, good to see you back with all things Dead....

I saw some Grateful Dead shows when I was pregnant with my daughter...she came out dancing ...I rocked her to sleep to plenty of the good old Dead...I think I tainted her...now she calls it that silly old hippy music!!!

Welcome back..........How are things in the North Sea. My Great Grandfather had a farm and raised Clydesdale Horses in the Orkney Islands, across the North Sea from you. I have ancestors of viking decent too. What town are you from?

My dog loves Beethoven. The St Bernard. Every time that movie comes on her eyes light up. Congrats to the new parents. My son used to break out in a wild boogie-woogie every time I played Look At Little Sister by SRV. That was 15 years ago. Today, he's 6'4". Enjoy it now, they grow up way to fast.

One time, when my daughter Alissa was like two (if that), we were in a restauarant having dinner and Soulshine came on...without missing a beat she said "OTIEL".

Man, was I proud!
