Man, Jack of the Woods is a great Irish Pub! The food is killer too! Audrey and I went there when we were in Asheville for a weekend trip that her Aunt/Uncle gave us for christmas. We did the whole Biltmore X-mas thing. It was a great weekend!

The Biltmore is a neat place. Especially during Christmas. A childhood friend of mines wife use to work there. She loved it. Asheville is a very unique city. I would love to live there.

Didn't have time to see the Biltmore when I was vacationing in the area a couple of years ago but it's on my list of places to see (especially since that vacation turned me into such a NC fan! ) I'm betting it's especially lovely during the holidays. Would love to stay there but I'm too much of a cheapskate.

If you ever get a chance to get to the Biltmore, the "behind the scenes tour" is well worth the money. You get to step out on to the roof. Unfinished rooms, all the hidden halls, servant quarters. Its amazing what all the workers constructed back in that era.
