I don't have any blanks right now, but if i did i would gladly send you one. But there is something better you can get. It is called The Duane Project - ABB. It was made by Masahikio Yamaura, one of the best remasterers/tapers/traders out there. If you PM him, you may be able to get one. Just look around bro!

Perhaps this is what you've heard about??

---------------------------------------------------------------
The DVD Project
Allman Brothers Band Vol. 1
DVD #1 - Duane & Berry
DVD #2 - Saturday Night In Macon

These ABB discs turned out pretty well I think, although far from perfection. I wish DVD #1 could be better sound/video quality, but I am leaving the possibility open of upgraded versions of this down the line. Besides, it's nearly 90 min. of all things Duane & Berry so the hardcore will understand. I almost omitted the Love Valley & Central Park clips, but I thought for archival purposes I would have them in there too, most remotes have Fast Forward...LOL. There will nothing in the DVD Projects of this type quality from here on out (except maybe some Miles Davis footage). Disc #1 is somewhat of an archive disc, but includes the Fillmore footage (with 2 WP sources), two tracks from Berry's last show, and some interesting footage of Duane from Love Valley. Even though the film quality is rough, I still love that shot of Duane playing under the open sky with the light shining on him @ 6:39 on the Southern Voices track. Also, on the Hofstra footage, be sure to watch Berry just smooth in the groove on Ramblin' Man and watch Dickey just tear up Whipping Post standing between Butch & Jaimoe whose kits are up front instead of behind. There is really isn't anything new here other than the short slideshow, but at least it's all on one neat, navigatable disc.

DVD #2 is the COMPLETE Don Kirchners Rock Concert from Macon in 1973 featuring Wet Willie, Marshall Tucker and the Allman Brothers. I had the ABB set for a long time but it is an odyssey in itself how the whole thing finally made it to me via Clay. Thanks to that unknown trader out there! The original source tape had been recorded at a lower quality speed for about 10 minutes and then was switched to a HQ mode, so everything gets better after that point. bbart did a fantastic job of bring healing to the audio on the Macon disc and repaired the first 10 minutes which were a real mess into something that is now quite listenable. From there on out it sounds damn fine comin' outta my speakers. Kudo's to ya bro', you did a great job! The Macon disc is really very, very good for a taping from 30+ years ago. A pretty remarkable document IMHO. I love the Marshall Tucker set and they may almost steal the show. No duel guitars, you can really see here how Dickey stepped up to fill in a very large hole left with Duane gone. This also has the only non-commercial footage of Wet Willie in existence. Taken as a whole, this is a very nostalgic look at music in Macon in 1973 and a great piece of ABB history.

Good, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Alot of love, hard work and time went in to that one. Since it's been a while since I offered up something, I just may post that one for a Thanksgiving offer.

I think Hugh is trying to say that aggravations like you, grated his nerves to the point he had better things to do than sift through all the drivel.

But that is just an assumption so ....

And while I'm b!tchin' ---Derek is a slide professional and for you to try and second guess his choice of slide on a particular guitar is just........btw, Do you have any of the recent shows, hard to second guess recordings that are that sweet.

I have to third both of your opinions. You know, when you kick a door open you have to be prepared for whats on the other side. Almost to easy right?

wondering about something is asking a question....you made a statement, even going so far as to suggest how Derek could get a better sound.........BIG difference.

your post :
"Is that Derek's '36 National?

"BTW, I can't see how Derek likes the tone of a National with a glass slide. I bet it would sound a lot better with a steel slide."

wow geez, that does sound suggestive...

I didn't mean it to sound that way at all, what I meant was, I wonder what it would sound like with a steel piece on it. I didn't mean he should change anything, heck, hes makin a living off of it! Not trying to start anything off of that post.
