*VEDDER*

Into The Wild is very good if you get it on Itunes there are extra songs. "Here's To The State" is powerful!

Silly me, its the soundtract to Sean Penn's film Into The Wild. Wife just stuck headphones in my ears handed me my coffee and I listened. Still great songs and statements about the society and whats happening in America today, well done Eddie.

Love everything Eddie Vedder does. Gonna have to pick it up later. I'm also looking forward to the movie.

Ditto. He's the REAL deal. No Rock Star crap with Eddie, not ever. His heart is always in the right place...

A nice interview with Eddie and Sean Penn about the movie and soundtrack to "Into the Wild" ...

Yea, Eddie and Pearl Jam have always been a great band in my opinion. Seen them live only 3 times but they are 3 for 3.

Nice to see Eddie venture out solo

Didn't realize that Eddie did the soundtrack for this movie. Don't go to movies often but am looking forward to seeing this one. The book by Jon Krakauer was excellent.

Vedder is hot stuff in my book.
Ever since I first heard Jeremy and especially since seeing the MTV awards show encore with him doing Rocking in the Free World with Neil Young. What an amazing voice, what an amazing performer, what an intense personality.

Eddie Vedder and Sean Penn and two of my favorite artists/activists. I have been looking forward to seeing the movie and will try to catch it this week. I just finished listening to the audio book in anticipation - it was fabulous. To complete the trilogy, I downloaded the soundtrack last night, it has also gotten rave reviews. So far, it's been great. I think someone else mentioned that its mood fits very well with the movie...it certainly fits with the emotion of the book.

As far as the book and movie go, I wonder how many others have a similar story and how this particular one came to gain so much attention.

I have the soundtrack from Dead Man Walking, which Vedder is also one. The two have some similarities.

Started reading Into The Wild last nite, pretty disturbing story. Won't ruin the read for others.

Neil - if you like Krakauer's Into The Wild give his Into Thin Air a look. Another excellent read - a true story of men and nature.
