Gregg was extremely awesome last night.

Jay Collins added a Marshall Tucker like sound to Midnight Rider... Incredible.

Got to meet Gregg for the second time (the second time this year...) after the show.

He signed the playbill and I told him I would have loved to hear a rendition of "Midnight Promises" sometime in the future, he laughed and said "right on, brotha"

I have tickets for tonights show but won't be able to make it due to midterms at LSU.

Anyone else made it last night?

Posted on Gregg's guestbook from Ruthie:

FABULOUS SHOW in Hammond last night. Gregg's voice sounds as powerful as ever. Close to a full house. The crowd loved Gregg and they let him know it. It was exciting. The musicians with him are top notch. Do not miss this show! Drive, fly, walk, hitchhike, whatever it takes. But don't miss it! It was a rip roarin' good time. Gregg Allman Tour 2007 has got it going on!

Hey Everybody. This is a really great trip. We love Louisiana. I can't think of enough superlatives to describe last night's show in Hammond. Gregg sang a very sexy "Just Like A Woman". He owns this song even if Dylan wrote the words. They have a madman for a piano player and they added flute to Mellissa which added a sweet note to an already sweet song. Gregg and the guys made quite a stir. Myles sang three songs and let me tell you this man can sing the blues.

We are in Baton Rogue now for the night and tomorrow we head to Harrah's in Bossier City for two nights. We'll see Gregg again Friday night. I am so excitited I can hardly wait. Sergio and I have been talking about last night's show since we got up this morning.

I'll write more. We are going to have po'boys for lunch. Another reason to love Louisiana!

That was a great cover.

Will there be a live recording available for this show?

Hey Sue! If it's on the menu, you know I'll order it. And believe me, it's on every menu here.
