Pleases to sat I got my ticket for the only London gig. I see he's playing 3 nights in Italy and France.
Are the DTB really more popular in France than England? I find that hard to believe.

I alos find that odd. Wouldn't it be great for the dTb to play Royal Albert Hall!
I know they probably could not but still nice to dream. I believe that the Clapton tour helped to build Derek in Europe.

That's what I was thinking when I saw the schedule. Being with Eric helped a lot of people realize what a major talent Derek is - his European tour is going to be fairly extensive. Very good for Derek! All I want to know - where is the Midwest love??? (not giving up home here... )

mmmm, two sets! I bet we'll only get one set in London. After all we don't want any loud music after 11 pm

Saw Ian Siegal guesting with Matt Schofield a couple of weeks ago, wasn't terribly impressed.Good voice but an awful slide player

Islington isn't my stomping ground but the Old Red Lion, 418 St John Street, just down from Angel tube station, sounds like fun.

Built in 1415, "where locals, young and old, come for banter, booze and bawdiness"!

Otherwise, Islington is gastropub territory.

Think i'm i'm gonna have to go look at that even if it isn't the pre-venue

I notice on the Carling Academy website that the DTB gig isn't, according to them, a highlight of the month! What a bunch of tossers, only iinterested in the next 'indie' (god I hate that term) band!
