I'm sure the original line-up of ABB will top many people's list. Who else do you wish you'd seen that now there is little or no hope of?

For me - original Pink Floyd, however I'd take them in any form.

and original Mule

All of the usual suspects from the 60's and 70's that I wasn't around for but my biggest regret is that I never got to see Faith No More, one of my all time favorite bands. I did get to see Stevie Ray, Nirvana, Woody era Mule, Albert Collins, Albert King and the original VH on the Diver Down tour.

Yeah, it is a 2-part question between "Who do I regret not seeing that I could have been able to see during my concert-going lifetime?" and "Who do I wish I could have seen that was before my time?"

I started seeing concerts in 1982. So I wish I could have seen Hendrix and Duane, but they were before my time. I really kick myself hard for not seeing SRV when I know that I could have.

Obviously, the original line up of ABB, but I was 10 and 11, respectively, when Duane and Berry passed away. I also missed the Chuck and Lamar era of ABB. I also regret not seeing the ABB with Allen Woody, as well as Gov't Mule with Allen Woody. I don't recall ever having the opportunity to see SRV in the Augusta area. Guess I'll have to check his tour database and see if I missed him, then I'll kick my ass over that, too.

Hendrix was the 1st that popped into mind. Original ABB would be another , but since I've probably seen the ABB 30+ times in other configurations I wasn't my first thought.

I've seen tons over the years but a few stand out as ones I regret not seeing:

Jeff Beck Group w/Rod the Mod
SRV
The Stones in their prime...late 60's to mid 70's
Savoy Brown w/Chris Youlden

I saw Led Zep and Cream but I wish I had seen them in smaller venues than at MSG.

Duane Allman and the Original 6. No internet, poor to non existant tour info. back in the day, plus the fact I don't believe the original ABB ever played anywhere in Canada meant I never saw Duane live. Back in those days I had trouble crossing the borderl...
