Got tickets this morning in Section 102 Row C - 3rd row center! I was incredibly surprised as I had to quickly register a new account and then typed in the wrong password, but hell, you can't complain about 3rd row center? I decided to get tickets for the Wallingford show since the cheap seats in NYC were the exact same price as the expensive seats in Wallingford. Anyone else get good seats?

Great seats, vin! Enjoy the show! Neil is one of my all-time faves and puts on an excellent live show.

Vin, I blew the last of my concert budget for 2007 on tix for The Musical Box and don't regret it, though I'd love to see the Neil.

Odd venue in Wallingford. It used to be a theater in the round. Now, what WAS the old "round" is the food court, which is also full of shiny new Chevies on display, since Chevy owns the place! And to even get into that, you pass through a bunch of small buildings that I think might include real estate offices and a bank! A friend of mine calls it "the place where rock'n'roll died" because of all of that, and in fact, security inside is pretty tight. Put it this way: it ain't the Beacon. However, if you are in the center, the sound is great, and almost every seat there is good visually, so I still make the trip.

Warning: ten dollar Heinkens inside.

I'm in 209 row BB which ain't bad but it took me 45 minutes to pull up a pair. It was probably a matter of a busy server but at least I'm in. It's going to be a great show.

Hey Sue! Things are great here, I hope things are just as well for you. I'd say the back is around 85% now and it's still getting better. A long, stressful ride but it was well worth it. I haven't felt this good in a long time. This will actually be my 2nd show since just after the Beacon last March. There's been some music withdrawal to say the least!

Vic, so glad to hear about the improvements! It's good to hear you've got something to look forward to cause those withdrawals can be a real bummer!! Did you make it to the Dickey show this summer?

Sue I'm sorry to say I didn't make any of them. Missing GOTV really hurt. 10 minutes from my door step and it passed me by. Fortunately he's doing 4 more nights here in Connecticut coming up soon including a couple freebies at one of the casinos that I may hit. Not having any shows to look forward to was the worst part of the whole recovery (well.....maybe the pain was just a little worse LOL!) but thankfully a bunch of the good folks here set me up with plenty of what I missed. Hopefully I'll see you at one of those casino shows. No way I'm missing ANOTHER free Dickey show! It's good to see you've got some upcoming shows yourself. Before you know it, it'll be Beacon time again.

103 J- plus they have decent draughts at I think $6- clean toilets, carpeting and comfy seats; biggest problem is the stuffy Connecticut 'music lovers' but half of 'em will bail during the break ( provided there is one...) but don't think about having a nice time 'tailgating' as they don't open the lotuntil the last minute, and then patrol it to discourage hedonism

Connecticut crowds are typically very lame, bordering on rude in my opinion. First of all, you can forget about dancing of any kind!!!! The security at the Chevy will see to it that the meat in your seat rule is well in effect. I'm not much for dancing myself, but folks should be allowed to get into the show as they please as long as they respect their neighbor. As for tailgating, if you check the lot down the street from the venue it's ok, but it will be December so it may not be optimum tailgating weather anyway.

I love that Mr. Sheridan calls him "The Neil" That is about one million times better than the Donald since it is way more fitting...Enjoy the show, Neil usually likes to play his new material with a slight bit of old stuff mixed in for the encore...which makes it exciting like seeing something new that you have never experienced before.

Right on Sue. One thing you can count on at Mohegan is the free shows. Not exactly a happening crowd, but there are good shows in that Wolfden. Hopefully I'll see you there!

I found the Mohegan Sun arena so mediocre for that Sabbath show that I don't know if I want to deal with it even for a free Derek show.

God I sound old.

As for The Neil, he is definitely THE Neil! Put no other Neil before him, not Peart, nor Sedaka, nor Diamond, not even Vince Neil.

And hey, if you find 6 dollar drafts at any concert in Connecticut, let me know!
