Hi Everyone.

I first heard ABB back in the 70's riding the bus to high school. I guess Rambling Man was their first big hit? Anyway, always loved the band and southern rock. I guess I've been going through my mid-life crisis and been getting very nostalgic about all the old bands. Did some searching and found this site. What a great site with ton's of info. Next I'm going to did out all my old albums and turntable and start playing them.

One of my all time favorite songs is Melissa and I can hear it over and over and never grow tired of it. I guess because it's such a great song but also because it brings me back to a time of innosence, the freedom of teen age youth, old enough to venture out on your own but nieve enough that everything is a new experience. Your first car, tearing around back roads with your buddies (I grew up in the country), swimming holes, mountain climbing, dinking beer and smoking pot, discovering bars, making friends outside of high school, your first love, your first heart break, riding motorcycles, discovering new towns besides the one you grew up in (the world doesn't end at the edge of town!), road trips!, cheap gas, no mortgage, no credit cards, no car payments, no responsibilities!
And the music, well it was like the soundtrack of the movie that was my life. If I ever won the lottery I'd have a movie made of my life in the 70's and it would be filled with incredable music and it would just for me. I wouldn't care if anyone else saw it or not, it would be just so I could go back and remember all the great times I had. This site has helped me go back a little. Thanks.

Welcome HotChili.

Think about checking out the band if they play in your area. {Sounds like you have not seen them recently.} It would be very much worth your while.

Enjoy the site!
