It's not reserved seating. In fact, there are no seats. The show is slated for 6:30. I plan to arrive between 5 and 5:30.

Is that 630 for the opener? What time is Mule time, you reckon? Still trying to figure out a way...
thanks

That is for the opener and there are two bands opening. I assume Mule will be on at 8 but am not sure. Unfortunately, I am assuming (I hope I am wrong) that due to the early curfew, this will be a one set Mule show. I hope not though.

Mule will probably come on around 7ish, but two very good openers are scheduled. I imagine the music will start at 5:30. Can't wait to get my MULE fix taken care of. See y'all there.

I too think the Mule will not come on before 7:30 and it is Gen. Admiss. and I remember a grand stand for seating

Any suggestions about what I heard? I called to confirm my room in NYC, and I was told that the taxi drivers are going on strike today and tomorrow. Anyone else heard this terrible rumor? My hotel is 25 city blocks from the venue. Don't you imagine that all the horses are gonna be exhausted on all those flippin' carriage rides?

Easy enough to take the Subway. The C line stops nearby. But as of today, Mayor Bloomberg said that even if it happens, the public will not notice the difference. (Only some are striking as a protest)

Where did I hear the music is starting at 6:30. I hope it does start earlier so we can get a longer Mule show.

Thanks for the info....

I doubt Warren will be playing anywhere after the show, as they have to hightail it up to Boston. So, I am also hoping (as always) for a long Mule show....

Live Nation website says Doors: 4:30 pm | Show: 6:30 pm

http://www.livenation.com/event/getEvent/eventId/287836

If that's the case, with 2 opening acts and the 10:00 pm Rumsey Playfield curfew, I think it's safe to assume this will be about a
2 hr.-one set Mule show.

That would stink. That's way too short for a Mule show I don't care who the opening acts are. If this is true, I would say in the future that Mule should not perform at venues with such an early curfew.

It is going to be an absolutely beautiful night, so my suggestion would be to walk both ways and enjoy the sights and sounds of the city. 25 city blocks will take you about 30 to 40 minutes at a nice casual pace.

There's no where to put a blanket down, at least on the side somewhere, until Mule comes on?
All that standing is hard on us ladies, too!

Ok, this is what I think the schedule will look like, and the reasoning why.

Mule would have to be on by 8 for them to do a 2 hour show because there's a strict 10 PM curfew in the Park.

The tickets say doors at 4:30.

I say 5:30 -5:45 is Earl. 6:30-6:45 is Grace and anywhere from 7:45 to 8:00 is Mule so they can do at least a 2 hour set.

That would be my guess. :-)

See you guys there and if this was already posted sorry. I haven't had time to read all the threads. But, I think Live Nation has the wrong info for show time cause why would they make us wait 2 hours before any music? Just doesn't make sense with 3 acts.

Ang

You think those acts are only going to do 15 minutes each?
