Mike Callahan could really use some good (((VIBES))) and prayers right now from the family. He is in the hospital and was put on the list awaiting a liver transplant.

I will keep you all posted as I find out anything else. We are working on setting up a medical fund as well.

I love you Callahan, hang in there...love to Regina too and sending you both strength.

I never come around here anymore - I stick to Dickey's site - this place is much too overwhelming.
I'm just stopping in to thank Pam for letting us all know about Callahan and for putting the prayer wheel in motion.

Sorry to hear about MC's health challenges...as we all know this place has a lot of power to generate positive vibes through prayer. Thoughts, prayers and good vibes going out to Mike Callahan, who was there from the beginning.

This website wouldn't be here if not for the efforts of Mike Callahan -- he was in the original band of enlightened rogues (as Duane liked to call them) -- he, Red Dog, Twiggs, Kim Payne, Joe Dan Petty -- they were every bit as much a part of things as the musicians -- that's why Duane always saw to it that they (road crew) got paid first -- indeed, the picture in Willie's book No Saints No Saviors says it all -- Callahan catching some Zs behind some speakers during a gig -- resting up before getting ready to reload the equipment & move on to the next town

Very best wishes to you, brother -- am earnestly hoping the coming weeks/months will bring cause for encouragement
...and, thank you

LOL. Mikey wasn't too thrilled when I showed him the picture I'd chosen for the book but he had to admit, it was a position that he was found in on numerous occasions and then said I'd made a good choice. He also had a good laugh at the picture of Berry sitting in a chair, pensively watching Callahan being, ah, nevermind.

Helen the idea machine is going full speed ahead. The brothers and sisters here on this site always seem to come together in a time of need.

Mike remains positive and certainly appreciates everyones well wishes and prayers at this time.

We should have our 1st fundraiser raffle ready shortly. Everyone I have talked to is already onboard and ready to get the ball rolling ...........
