Lovely photos (am imagining a wander down that lane as I type...)! I particularly enjoyed the levitation photo - kind of reminded me of the rising Sidha's from the nearby Maharashi U!

Thanks Actually, the grass is always greener ..... I'd leave England given half the chance - it's a depressing place, wouldn't recommend it

where would you go?

i spent a week in the North, Haltwhistle and roaming around on a rail pass, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Carlyle. then a couple days in London. about a week after the subway bombings. so many people thanked us for not canceling the trip.

we landed at Heathrow, took the train up the west, then trained down the east back to London. A good size for a country, managable, civilized.

i can't really explain it, but after being in England for about 6 hours i had a real feeling of connection, like, the Motherland, innit?

i must say i'm not really down with the whole monarchy thing...but who am i to judge?

Great pics Dave. Looks a little like the Orkney Islands north of Scotland. My great grand father raised Clydedale's there on his farm. He even sold a couple to Budweiser back in the mid 50's.

Man, there was 2 blokes in the buff down there under the cliffs - i didn't look - but Kirsty almost fell in the sea for looking

It's usually pretty deserted up there - which is nice - this town isn't really one for the ladies in bikinis though, well not under 85 anyway It's an old victorian resort - some cool old stuff about.

It's funny you saying that, it can get pretty claustrophobic - i crave big open spaces - here, you're never more than a mile away from civilisation of some sort. Britain, seems rapidly heading towards a nanny police state, and the inhabitants accept it as long as it doesn't interupt the soap operas I worked in the Mediteranian for a while, always liked that way of life, felt free-er and far less stressed ....... the weathers pretty good there too
