The best sound I ever heard on the boys, I love Rama for that. The show was good, a little shaky the first couple tunes, but they got better as the night went on. It was a 2 hour show, I figured that would happen with it being at the Casino. I didn't write the songs down, but they opened with Don't Want you no more and Not my Cross to bear and ended with Jessica and did One Way Out for the encore. They seemed very laid back most of the night, just easing into it I guess, but great nonetheless. Highlight for me was a killer version of Good Morning little school girl by Warren. God, he's awesome. I was worried he wasn't going to make it back from Japan in time, but he didn't miss a beat. He also did a great job on The Sky is Crying. They also did, Hot 'Lanta, Old before my time, Midnight Ryder, Statesboro Blues to name a few. Sorry, brain's still not awake yet! hehe Enjoyed the show, I'm sure it'll only get better as they get further into the tour. Might have to go catch them at Darien Lake again. Cheers,

Ouch! Opening night, good prep work for a great show. Its amazing how the Bros. can take two months off and jump back onto the bike. Warren and Derek were amazing and Greg was in great voice. Good crowd, not Amphitheater like but very keen. Ran into a couple of Peacheads, (hope ya got rid of that ticket musicalbeds!) Highlights, The Sky is Crying, Good Morning Little School Girl, Jessica, One Way Out, Hot'Lanta. Opening with Don't Want you No More and Cross to Bear was fantastic. JaBuMa (and Oteil was cool).
Of course we had to go make our donation to the casino and ran into Derek at the blackjack table. He was again (met him last year in Niagara) very laid back and he's just a nice guy. Niether he nor I did very well at the table. He was happy to be back on the road for a month with the Bros. and looking forward to the tour. We are second row tonight and the gentleman that he is he said he will be looking out for us. As my memory slowly returns over the day I will try to put up a full set-list and will give a review of both shows later in the week. Were off for some breaky and a round of golf. Way safer than spending the day and more money at the casino. Cheers!

Can't Lose What You Never Had was in there as well. Derek ropped up Jessica, Sky is Crying was very well done. Wonderin was also a highlight.

Somber....Sober crowd took a little energy out of the performance, but I'm more accustom to the frenzy @ Red Rocks/Beacon/Wanee.

Still, being 100% clear headed, there were many goose bump moments. Oteil impresses me every time I see him play.

Likey to get a Franklin's or Patchwork tonight for Jerry.

Cheers.

It was a great show, Gregg sounded fantastic on Old Before My Time...and the Sky is Crying was very special.

I hear we can order the instant live versions of these two shows on this website in a week or so?

That's what I heard at the T shirt table.

Kdick, it was cool meeting you and yes, I managed to get $30 for the ticket but I missed the openers.. happily the gentleman reserving the ticket explained himself well, and has offered to make up the difference I lost, tonight when we meet.

I'm 13th row section F4 again...I got a few cool personal snaps of the band, most came out blurry but a few didn't. I wasn't using the flash so it was very hit and miss.

good crowd, id say 2500. the upper mezz was curtained off and the remainder was full. lots of real fans, not too many casino freebies and no freebird yellers that i heard! very hot up here, 100+ degrees, should be a corresponding hot show tonight. looking forward to some dreams, whippin post ain't wastin time no more and desdemona. requested them all to derek last night and he said, "why not man!" the one memory that has returned was the time between tunes last night. lots of discussion with greg and warren and warren and derek-kinda like the way we do it at a club. all good however.

Soundboards 2007:

Allright - it's that time of year again when our favorite band goes on the road! Munck Music, the fine company behind this year's ABB Jazz Fest recording, will be taking over the role that was formerly filled by Instant Live and they will be producing CDs of the concerts for pick-up 30 minutes after the end of each show. Be on the lookout for the Munck Music Tent as well as the HTN Tent where you can buy the CDS and be directed to where you can pick them up after the show. For those of you that don't purchase at the venue, Hittin' the Note will also have these concerts available for shipping within two to three weeks after each performance - a big improvement over the previous years! These "after-show" packages will have CD cover inserts, may be re-mastered and will have set-list printed on the CDs.

We anticipate that all shows will be 3 disc shows except for the Atlanta and Snowmass performances. If a concert ends up on 2 disc for $20.00 instead of the 3 disc, $25.00 package the difference will be quickly refunded. If the Brothers end up having a historic, marathon performance on 4 disc - you won't mind the extra $5.00 charge, will ya? Didn't think so ;-). At this point we anticipate that all shows will be available. However, there is the possibility that this will not be the case. So bear with us if we end up having a few changes...OK?

After the tour we will have the usual West Best Packages up for sale - where you get 6 shows for the price of 5. We are offering the complete Summer Set for sale now, with a deposit of only $100.00 required to reserve the complete collection - which will probably end up priced around $700.00 (including the Wanee and Jazzfest shows - which are deductable if you already purchased them). If you have any questions call us toll-free at 888-746-4616, or locally in Hot'lanta at 770-640-1124.

very cool.

Great show from my front row view...Excellent sound, good sight lines but a casino show with a time limit - although we got 2 hours or very close to it...

Setlist:

DWYNM/NMCTB
Trouble No More
lCant Lose What You Never Had
Good Morning Little Schoolgirl
Hot 'Lanta
Old Before My Time
Come & Go Blues
Statesboro Blues
The Sky Is Crying
Don't Leave Me Wonderin
Midnight Rider
Same Thing
Jessica
E: One Way Out

Had to leave for bathroom break and the Casino is one of those stodgy places with earnest ushers etc. who are mostly middleaged and follow the rules...nice people doing their jobs really. Get back to the door and the nice lady points to the sign and says wait til the end of this song.Obviously not a fan, I had to explain the length of songs varies widely and we could be out there a while missing the show... she finally relented and we all went in.
