Boy, I just happened to be flicking the remote and ran across the very excellent concert film mentioned in thread title - Genesis live with Bruford on drums. Eggzellent!

A pal had gotten me a tape of this form "Night Flight" eons ago. We wore the tape out. I got a good boot copy later, dubbed from Japanese laserdisc, and gave it to a pal to convert to DVD-R; never seen again.

So here it is on my TV right now - and my DVR is too full to save it!! D'oh! Oh well. At least I get to see it once. It really is a hell of a sight. Apparently it comes as a bonus on the recent remastered/ high-falutin' hoo-hah Genesis disc set. Anyone get it?

Yup - I got the new box set, with all the remastered goodies (CD, SACD, & DVD-A) and videos. It covers Trick of the Tail, Wind and Wuthering, And Then there Were Three, and Duke. It's a bit spendy, and probably only suited to Genesis fans and prog nuts - but it is quite nice. The remasters - especially the DVD-A's on my surround system - are pretty impressive.

Also looking forward to seeing them. Got tix for the Columbus show

Yeah... I was so happy they put that on there, I've had it on video tape for a long time, but to get it on a DVD was great. That box set sounds incredible. I cannot wait for the rest of the releases.

Hey all

While it is great they are putting out some of the classic footage "commercially", be advised, for example, they do not always provide the larger project. On the Duke remaster two disc set, they only offer 48 minutes of the Lyceum show of May 1980. I have a bunch of the fan projects that cover more ground than the commercial discs will ever do.

As to the future, god, I would love to have a Gabriel "Supper's Ready" complete with the wires at the end of the song.

Fuji, we too have our tix for the Columbus show. Whereabouts are you? Perhaps we can get ready for Supper before the show.
