As I posted on the GB, I just got this in an e-mail from munckmix.com. They did the reunited Dead shows a few years ago....

"We are also happy to announce that we will be hittin' the road with The Allman Brothers Band next week to record all the shows from their 2007 Summer Tour. CDs of each performance will be available for purchase right after each show at most venues, and downloads will be available soon at www.abblive.com and the MunckMusic online store."

Will we be able to buy them from HTN?

I'd rather support our friends at Hittin' the Note if possible

No mention of that in the e-mail. Joe?

I think I read somewhere that they were going to have the CD's ready right after the show, as with Instant Live in the past, but that they will re-mix/re-master the show for sale afterwards. I hope it is physically for sale at HTN/Kid Glove, rather than available only via download.

The Live at Jazz Fest 2007 that MunckMusic did sounds great! Bitchin' performance with Chuck Leavell and Susan T.

I would imagine that they'll join the ABB at
the first US show....can't see them doing the
Canadian dates.

The downloading sounds nice to me.

I hate to wait for my buddy to get his after the show. Keeps me from the post show partying.

Getting sb downloads from other shows I can't attend is attractive to me.

Yes, we will be carrying these on our site at www.hittinthenote.com We worked with Peer Munck and the rest of the MunckMix crew on the Jazz Fest CDs, and we are looking forward to working with them on this year's Allman Brothers tour. MunckMix tells us we should have the CDs in about two weeks after the shows, which is obviously a great turnaround time.

We appreciate that so many of you want to do business directly through Hittin' the Note It's always great to have that vote of confidence, and we thank you!

Yeah, but the post show party will be rocking while listening to the awesome show you just witnessed. I love listening to the ABB show in the parking lot and on the way home in the summer. It has become a ritual.

Why not? There were ILs available at both Niagara shows last year. Also, the email said they would be recording all the shows from the 07 tour.

Nobody has really stated the most important part of this new development with Munckmix. That they also do the beacon shows. Ratdog had all their shows recorded at their beacon run in early march. Have the 2nd of 3 shows they did. Lets hope this new partnership bears fruit at the most important time of the year (March) next year and we can all be enjoying our favorite show or shows from the Beacon run. I too am also glad that they will be selling after the show. Love those rides home w/ the show you were just at blaring from your audio. Just something very cool about that indeed. Will purchase the camden show at the venue and order direct from HTN for all the others since the camden show is the only one I have lined up on this short tour. Peace.

Does anybody think this will change the bands opinion about downloads for the tradeable stuff?
