Why in the world would Phil chose to play Nokia instead of the Beacon????? I would even prefer the Hammerstein again. I've never been to Nokia but have been told it sucks compared with other city venues. Is this a standing venue or are there seats? Think I'm gonna try for the Mohegan Sun show and maybe one Nokia show, unless they have seats.

What a beautiful time of year up that way.

I gotta believe it's GA for the Nokia shows.More room for dancing. I wish he could have played in a theatre theatre but I will take it.

It's Echo Project and you can click on those words on Phil's site and enter an email for word when it has any info. I first searched Echofest and found that was a festival for struggling Christian musicians, yikes.

Jackie Greene ROCKS!

This is great news. Three weekend nights in the Windy City!

Don't care for the venue, but oh well. Should still be great!

Yea Jackie Greene is talented but he's got some big shoes to fill if he is a guitar slot. When I saw him he was on Keys, B-3,harmonica, singing, and a little guitar. On one tune he was playing the Keys,B3,harmonica at the same time, and doing them all well!

Howdy folks,
Any good stories of seeing shows at the NOKIA Theatre? Greg and Band? How is the sound?
A 15 million dollar renovation was finished in 2005.
2,100 capacity, GA, sometimes has seating.

9 dates, Holy Cow!

3 nights at the Riveria will be fine. 3 different setlists. Red Rocks would even be better.

Jackie Green has now played 3 dates with Phil. Most reviews indicate that he sings the GD songs well and performs a few of his own songs each night.
With Phil it is always "And now for something completely different."

Larry Campbell, Steve Molitz(Particle band), Jackie Green, John Molo, and Phil Lesh comprise the fall tour band.

Cross Roads this weekend Charlie
