I haven't heard this before. I knew about it but have never ran across it until today. I bought a used copy on vinyl for $5 and the records are in great shape! The cover is pretty worn but it looks like the records haven't been played more than a couple of times. Does anyone know if they make this on disc? I haven't seen it on disc before this may be the only way you can find it. I'm going to give it a spin tonight after the kids have gone to bed so I can enjoy it in peace.

Yes it's on disc and it is my favorite GA 'solo' recording. Great stuff!

I have always dug this record since it came out in '74. Some great soul music on it. Only drawback is they tried to do "Stand Back" with horns and it really didn't work.

I have all of Gregg's solo cds including the anthology, "One More Try", if you dont have it and see a copy in a used record store or flea market, buy it, it'll be worth it even if its expensive

Amazon.com is showing only used copies available for a minimum of $64.00, which tells me it MUST be out of print. That's a shame..........I picked up my new CD copy in a record store only a few years ago for around $10.

Yes. It's on CD, still in print and readily available. It's a companion piece to Laid Back an an essential album for all Gregg Allman fans.

I didn't see it listed on hittinthenote.com unless it is listed under something else besides Gregg Allman. Amazon.com has 6 copies starting at $64 for a used disc with no artwork! The new ones start at $80. I guess my $5 album was a good find after all!

Perhaps it has gone out of print in the last year. However, Yahoo Music has each track available for download except for one for some reason if someone would like to own it.

Wow, Kenny Tibbetts & David Brown sharing bass duties -- I always thought Lamar went out on that tour w/Gregg -- learn something new every day -- wasn't Ken Tibbetts the bass player on Dickey's first self titled DB & GS album a few years later?

Personally I really like that live version of Stand Back -- sort of like what the WTWCTODG version of Liz Reed was like a couple of years after that -- different but quite cool -- Tommy's slide solo is great -- he kills it on that entire album.

I thought it was cool he let the opening band Cowboy have 2 or 3 tracks the album! I also liked the version of Stand Back and I thought it was cool how at the end of the concert after "Will The Circle Be Unbroken" the album faded with "Little Martha"!

Cool? Or was it a marketing ploy for Capricorn since Cowboy was also a Capricorn band?
