After a long day of taking care of business, working, working, working, and taking care of more things than a body should, I come back and I see the main board with the following threads and I think:

Ahhhhh, the board is back in all its crazy diversity and brilliance.

Here's the topics and I love them all and even chuckled and smiled. Thanks.

- How do I recognize YOU?

- Bird's Friday The Thirteenth Back Porch Blues

- WKRP In Cincinnati

- Eric BUrden & The Animals w/ Big Brother & The Holding Company

- Excepting The ABB, which was your favorite Capricorn band?

- What's the worst decade for music?

- The Fillmore East, 9.23.70 Video

- Charlie Daniels Band and The Allman Brothers. Did they sound alike?

- Atlanta World Peace Concert 2008

- if you could invest in something, what would you invest in?

- What a song title!!!!!!

- What Are You Listening To Right Now--Part 4

- MIles Davis movie?

- The Next Musical Word Association

- I have a tooth that is beginning to throb. (This one cracked me up.)

- Phil & Friends Phall Tour?!?! (This one made me happy.)

- JHawke Diary VI

- Black Stone Cherry - Oh Yeah !!!

- ALLMAN-OAKLEY FENCE FUND

- Intro

- Friday the 13th fairly lucky for me

- What song is in your head?

- Warren Zevon Reissue Series

- Les Paul: Chasing Sound on PBS - July 11

It isn't where you are on the list or how many posts you have in your thread (well ok, a lot of posts is always good) but it's about a lot of people sharing info and feeling like they can participate without getting blasted by any thing but the drug of their choice.

What a great bunch of people you are. And what an interesting bunch of heady threads. :-)

Good post Angel -- I come here for the same reason, to have a smile & see what's going on w/ cyberfriends of similar interests.
Hoo boy do I ever remember 714s!! Sorta seems like an oxymoron to say that considering the Buzz they gave you (note capital B ) -- the one time I regretted doing them was before a Beck Bogert & Appice concert, couldn't remember a thing about it.

Me........I would L O V E .........to dose again. But, being that I am terrified at the same time, I doubt I will. But me and a buddy have been dancing around the idea, and even know that we can get it if we want to. Maybe for ABB @ SPAC on 8/5.....on the lawn. Never did ludes (God I hope that is the reference).

Nice post, Angela! Definitely remember 714's. Was at a costume party in a local club one year (guessing this to be around 73) and the prize for best costume went to a great big 714 - LOL! Believe he was still walking at evening's end, too.
