Way back I chose Peachstatedawg because I thought it would be easy to remember since that's my ID on TheDawgVent, a message board for UGA football fans.

I probably should have chosen something else to use on here,... but there is a Georgia tie.

Anyway, after a 1,000 plus posts I guess I shouldn't change now.

I wish I just would've used Moid.

Or Sprout.

Your name is great! UGA '81, my senior year was the National championship year. I'm glad I chose a short name so all the logins are a bit easier.

Actually I like mine.

I picked it because I really like the look of vintage cherry sunburst les pauls. Sure wish I owned one.

1/2 and 1/2.

I chose mine for all the great musicians that have left us. I have a passion for music and thought it fitting at the time. I re-discovered Derek Trucks in 2004 and wish I chose something with him as a name. Or a shorter name version of my current screenname. Even if I could do N1TRW that would be cool. Lana any way to do that and not loose my # of posts????

I believe my name is the perfect screen name. It tells you all you need to know about me: name, gender, year of birth, age (if you do the math), and the fact that I am completely unimaginative and have no creative ability whatsoever. All that info wrapped up in a seven character alpha-numeric code. Pretty slick, huh?

I've always liked your name. It has an endearing human quality. Mine is just cold and lifeless.

I wanted Jim, but it was already taken.

I didn't think of Jym until after the bynjymyn alter-ego popped up.

Benjamin is good for me - most days I can remember it's my user name.

I actually picked mine because it has a loose tie to music and poker. I enjoy playing cards and love music, so i wanted something that i could use on here and for online poker. I wish i had something ABB related, as I am much more a fan of them than Clapton, but I do love him as well.

I was "tim from hot'lanta" on the old HTW allmanbrothersband.com starting in spring 1997. When Rowland & Lana transfered everything to here, I signed up with that name. I couldn't get it to work. So, after about 4-5 months of not posting here, I changed the name and went with hotlantatim, instead. Yeah, I know, real creative....

nope. I though about mine for a while. I wanted something that identifies my home ("SuburbsOfBoston" just didn't have the same ring to it) and that I remain a huge fan of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. TCTB is one of their song titles. Funnny thing, over here only one person has made the connection (Hi Steve!)

Over on another board, I realized too late that they had 15-character max for screen names - over there I'm "TheyCameToBosto" Oops!
