I had owned the "Best Of" cassette the one that had the guitar wrapped in the brown paper like it was being sent through the mail but "Seven Turns" was my first studio album by the the Bros.that I ever owned. It may not be my favorite but it holds it's own with any of their other releases IMO and holds a special place in my heart.

I love the reminiscing songs-
Seven Turns
Old Before My Time
No One Left To Run With.
They're all good and bring back great feelings and memories.

This song is very special, for a very special person I know.
One of the best Dickey ever wrote, it says a lot.

One of my very favorite Dickey tunes!!! Love the sentiment expressed in the lyrics of this tune!

Beuatiful, never saw that one before. Still have my 7 Turns Tour tshirt , it's bit tight and you can see through it...

BTW,That great photo from Rolling Stone of Dickey & Gregg together must have been shot at the same time- they're wearing the same clothes in the vid and pic.

Thanks for posting this Rainy. Like goldtopper, I like these reminiscing songs also.

This reminded me that I have a VHS cassette I have yet to transfer to dvd, like the one I did of Woodstock 94 and more that is in wide circulation. It has several ABB music videos including Seven Turns, Good Clean Fun and some Gregg Allman videos from the 80s (yes they do exist).

Hopefully I can get around to transfering this to dvd format soon

There also is a video of GOOD CLEAN FUN, from the same album. That one contains some sexually suggestive (though good & clean) images. Quite a different video than SEVEN TURNS which has beautiful desert images and native americans.

Great videos, at a time when MTV was in decline, and music videos were starting to be less useful then they were in the 80s. Therefore, I am sure very few of us actually saw them when they were first aired.
