JW and PF are both playing in SC on 25 August. Frampton at House of Blues in Myrtle Beach and Joe Walsh in Charleston. I have heard great things about Frampton.
Who would you go see?

we saw frampton in june he played for about 2 hours, did some humble pie, and signed some albums, he has a great presence, he interacted with the audience, he is a great guitar player, the show was so enjoyable, and his performance was extremely better than expected..

go see frampton!!!

You can't lose.

Frampton is underrated given what he's done in his career.

Joe is a complete stitch in addition to being a gifted musician.

If you're looking for an over the top experience, Joe.

If you're looking for a beautiful technician, Peter.

I'm glad I don't have to make that choice

If I did, I'd probably see Frampton, because I've seen Joe (w/ James Gang)
But I like Joe better

Way back when (74) maybe, I had the opportunity to see both at the same show, Casino Pier, Asbury Park, NJ. Frampton opened up and just blew us away. We had seen him a few times before, with and without Humble Pie and Camel and he was always great. None of us could figure out why he opened for Joe... until Joe came on and blew us out into the ocean. He was incredible. Again, had seen Joe many times before and after, but when I had the opportunity (30+ years ago) to see both on the same stage on the same night, Joe Walsh came out on top.

I'd go see Joe if he isn't charging $70 a ticket like he is at the Starland Ballroom in Sayerville.
