It has to be the Marshall Tucker Band, however Capricorn had a slew of great artists.

JD, I liked "Dancing Madly Backwards" for one song's sound that really got to me,
but for band overall, Sea Level, no doubt.
(Not No Doubt--just Sea Level.)

I'm glad to see Musichead beat me to it! Aquarium Rescue Unit in a landslide.

They aren't a band that many people think of as a "Capricorn band," and they weren't around in the label's heyday in the 70s, but their first album remains the second-greatest live album of all time, behind The Allman Brothers Live At Fillmore East.

I'm not surprised to see Marshall Tucker winning the vote so far, a great band with great songs. I'm not immune to the charms of Sea Level either, but Chuck plays on the first ARU album as well, so at least I'm not dissing Mr. Leavell

Musically MTB and Sea Level have much more going on, but that first CB album
is one of those records that I played over and over again. It was one of the
first LPs I loaded into my computer and converted to CD. I like every song and
the whole flow of the album.

Another record that is like that for me is the Moontan album by Golden Earring.
In my view "Radar Love" is not even close to the best thing on that album.
