I logged on to Ticketmaster and was happy to see that I coul;d get great seats at the Raliegh show for $43.50. I was well prepared for the usual Ticketmaster scam of a "convenience charge", but there was also an $8 "building fee". On principle I just couldn't acquiesce to that kind of pocket-picking **** . If the up-front ticket price had been listed at $60, I would have bought them. Does the band know about this sleazy scamming? Is there any hope that common sense and fairness can be reintroduced to ticket pselling?

my opinion is that ticket sellers should be forced to sell and advertise tickets at the cost which you will be required to pay to get the ticket from them... it's almost bait and switch when you add in their fees... I would much rather see $60 listed up front...

AGREED!!! Especially difficult when you are trying to plan things with people and they're asking 'How much are tickets?' and your original price quote to them ends up being up to $20.00 more by the time tix are actually purchased.

marco - I'm sure they know what's going on with ticket sales...wouldn't think they have any control over the fees that get tacked on by TM or concert site.
