For those of us that cannot make it, XM12 is broadcasting various acts live from 2pm until 1am.

Unfortunately, this broadcast will not feature TOOL, as their management shot the idea down (no surprise there). No word yet as to whether or not Mule will be aired. They are scheduled to play from 12-3am on Saturday, but the broadcast only runs until 1am.

Some of the artists already announced are...

Widespread Panic, Xavier Rudd, The New Orleans Klezmer Allstars, Tea Leaf Green, Old Crow Medicine Band, Clutch, STS9, Apollo Sunshine, Dierks Bentley, Dr. Dog, Ziggy Marley, and more TBA!!

Starts friday 2pm to 1am (friday/sat/sun).
I'm not sure they will have all the acts live. Some may be on tape delay.

Ah, Cross Country - GREAT station, and one that's in regular rotation on my XM tuner. Cross Country(spelled X Country) is on channel 810 on DirecTV. Here's a link to a handy XM/DirecTV channel guide you might want to drop in your favorites. Thanks to debojenkins for pointing this out.

DirecTV XM Channel Lineup: http://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/packProg/channelChart2.jsp?assetId=1400004

Here's the XM link that shows a list of the many great shows that are on Cross Country: http://xmradio.com/onxm/channelguide.xmc?ch=12

There's a good Southern rock show called Smokestack that comes on every Sat night(8 PM ET) that plays four hours of old and new Southern rock and rockin' country tunes from legends like Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Allman Brothers, and the Charlie Daniels Band, plus X Country favorites like Cross Canadian Ragweed, Shooter Jennings, Webb Wilder, and Reckless Kelly.
Another good show is Barn Burnin'(acoustic & newgrass) Sundays @ 8 pm ET.

Cross Country brings you a musical landscape that blends the genres of folk, rock, country and blues creating a sonic space that is something akin to the birth of rock and roll. You'll hear honky tonk, Western swing, folk rock, swamp rock and Southern boogie among other styles from the red-hot Americana music scene.
Artists Dwight Yoakum, Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle, John Prine, Pat Green, John Hiatt & many more!
