Definitely!!! Saw them live and listened to their recorded music many moons ago then had the pleasure of seeing them live last summer. They absolutely rocked the house - everyone was on their feet for the dance groove.l

Huge Ash fan here from way back....

I saw them live in 04 at a small rock club. Capacity was about 150 so there was not a bad seat in the house. We were at a table close to the front row. Andy Powell was freaking amazing. . I could not believe how close we were sitting to this tragically too little known, guitar master.

I just found out about the XM CD about 2 weeks ago. I ordered it from Amazon about 4 days ago. I just got the confirm that it's on it's way.

So it's good huh?......

My favorite ..........
Artist: Wishbone Ash
Album: Live Dates
Title: The King Will Come

In the fire, the king will come.
Thunder rolls, piper and drum.
Evil sons, overrun,
Count their sins - judgment comes.

The checkerboard of nights and days -
Man will die, man be saved.
The sky will fall, the earth will pray,
When judgment comes to claim its day.

See the word of the prophet
On a stone in his hand.
Poison pen revelation,
Or just a sign in the sand?

The checkerboard of nights and days -
Man will die, man be saved.
The sky will fall, the earth will pray,
When judgment comes to claim its day.

See the word of the prophet
On a stone in his hand.
Poison pen revelation,
Or just a sign in the sand

A great band back in the day. Nice to hear they're still around. Who is in the current lineup?

They were a great band back in the mid-'70's. IMO Live Dates is the definitive album, a close second would be There's The Rub, the first album with Laurie Weisfield on guitar replacing Ted Turner. My great memory of them is seeing them twice in the same night at the Tower Theatre in PA. 10 of us went to the early show, us 4 diehards went to the late show. Ah, to be that young again...

I think the current band is Andy Powell and any 3 other guys who know the songs ...still worth seeing though, Andy still plays a Flying V
