Favorite guitarists under 30?

I know I can't ask you to pick one, or we will see nothing but "Derek"! Who else do you like?

Ever seen Los Lonely Boys live? Henry Garza rocks! (just ignore the pop crap that gets airplay, doesn't come close to the real thing)

Well he's 34, but Adam Aijala of Yonder Mtn String Band is a great flatpicker. Oh, how could I forget 21 yr old Vince Esquire from the Beacon, 4-5-07?

Damon Fowler from Tampa area.
Anyone else here know of him? He's a triple threat on guitar, vocals and lapsteel. Really super guy as well.

I remember being really impressed by this guy, when he was a teenager, about 20 years ago

John Wedemeyer

He and Little John Chrisly used to tear up JJ's Blues club in San Jose back in the early eighties.

both were too young to drink at the time.

Derek Trucks

Issac Pike

Somebody aim Damon at the JFD, if possible. Recommendations by Tinsley and Lefty carry much weight, IMHO.

yeah, Henry is great, as is the whole band.

and as far as the pop crap goes. hell, i'm impressed with that too.

they had at least 6 songs that could have made singles for airplay from their first album.

a very impressive first album.

hope they keep on working hard, and having fun.
