I am blown away that Chuck still tours. He was born in 1926 so he is 80!Wow!
He is one of the original rockers in history if not the original. It would be interesting to hear what he sounds like today.I decided to listen to some Chuck right now and it is as great as ever.I forgot how much i love Chuck Berry he is still going strong and has about 50 concert dates scheduled this year including Europe.Long live CB!!

You gotta see the film "Hail Hail Rock and Roll". Its a documentary of a concert
set up with many of the latter day rockers paying tribute to Chuck. The behind
the sceens footage is priceless. When Chuck tours he dosen't have his own band,
he just shows up with a guitar and the promoter provides the band. I don't
think they even pratice before the show, but then everyone already knows all those
songs.

Everybody knows his songs, and they are simple to play. however, Mr Berry will f**k with his backup band by not telling them what key the song is in when he starts it [leaving them to "figure it out" on the fly. also he will change keys in the middle of a tune without calling the change and expect the band to follow him!.

Chuck Berry is terrific
I've been listening to him a lot within the past year. ( Would like one day to get the 4 disc edition dvd of 'Hail Hail Rock n Roll'. Think I saw the movie a long time ago on tv. )

Go , Chuck Berry , Go !
