Anyone that hasn't seen it at the shows yet, I recently formatted the painting (http://porkchopbob.com/illustration/dtb.html) I produced for the New Jersey Special Olympics, which made the rounds here a few months ago, for a DTB t-shirt and

it's now up for sale here at Hittin' The Note!

http://www.hittinthenote.com/cart/ps-679-71-dtb-caricature-shirt.aspx

and on the DTB merchandise page

I didn't see that at the show - that is awesome work! I'll definitely be buying one of those.

Thanks great work. They only had XXl at Torrington. I guess they underestimated.

I saw that at the last show I was at. I wanted one, but my T-shirt wearing days will be over in a month, so I unfortunately need to be spending my clothing money on dress clothes now. If that comes out in a poster, I would definitely be interested.

Very nice Bob. Are you familiar with Al Hirschfeld? Your work is reminiscent of his New York work - love it!

Very familiar, big fan. Even since he came along, it's impossible for artists to draw a human being and not have a little Hirschfeld in there somewhere.

Thanks lolasdeb!

Is that the Count on the DTB shirt ? He's different from the Special Olympics poster.

I saw the shirt at the Westbury show, very nice! Wishing I had bought one.

Bob, will HTN be selling them?

It's The Count still, I wasn't as happy with that design of him, so when I formatted it for the T I redesigned him (per the 2nd Special Olympics painting I did of the band - http://porkchopbob.com/painting/derektrucksband2006.html ). I feel like The Count should be grinning.

No idea, I'm not sure what deal the HTN and Derek have, that's a question for Rob.

I'd just like to thank sully, as these paintings that lead to the shirts all started with him. Cheers!

I was at the HirschfeldTheatre about a month ago and what a treat to spend some time admiring the artwork on the walls before a show.

So are we looking for any hidden names in YOUR work??

Great work!! Not only the tshirt but all the stuff you have online. My kind of stuff. I didn't see any merch at Princeton... I guess I'll do it online. That is a great shirt; kudos to your skill and effort.

EDIT: Is there a promo code? Whats that part all about? Thanks.

That painting was set as my wallpaper for a long time on this computer. I'll definitely be ordering one of those shirts.
