ABB is coming to Chicago. It will be my first ABB show. It is August 29. Do you think it will be hard to get tickets to this. The last time I tried to get tickets(Clapton's Crossroads) they sold out in about an hour. I guess it was because of all the guys going there. I don't think I will have a problem.

Thanks
Austin

I would get my tickets NOW, just in case....

Enjoy the show Austin! Like BlueDaddy says - be prepared to have your sox blown off! Haven't seen the Bros at Rosemont (believe my last show there was the Dead!) but I read some other reviews on this site of previous ABB Rosemont shows which were favorable. Good luck getting those tickets!!!

Driving over for this one, Deb?

Our preshow's are pretty good - lots of folks.

I usually do better in the regular sale than the presale.

Randy

Would love to be on board for this, Randy, but I'm flying to Italy 8/31 (no complaints - I'll take Italy ). They are also going to be in Council Bluffs, I believe on 8/30 or 8/31. Finally got some shows in my neighborhood and I'll be gone! I'm sure you'll be going (if only to keep Sang away from Lincoln Park ... no, if he ends up there after a Rosemont concert, park benches would be the least of worries!) Did you get tix to the Crossroads Fest? I attempted it but to no avail. Good luck with the Rosemont tix - hope you get great seats!

Oh, this sounds like fun!!! You and Julie will have to get ahold of Droogie and Sang - believe they've got a pre-party planned (and sounds like it's a fun one, too!) Hope you ladies get some good seats!

Well, we're not really planning a party, but we all get together at the hotel bar across the street.

It'll be good to see you, susea, if you decide to come.

That would be the pre-party!

Nothing like that first ABB show. I have a feeling you will go to many, many more.
You will love it. Have fun and I quote "dance like no one is watching"

Well, I got tickets as you probably saw in the other thread but I also have tickets for Aspen! It all depends on weighing a few things out to figure which shows to hit!

Coin toss anyone!!!

Droogie, what's the name of that Hotel across the street? Perhaps I should book there for that night!

Been searching multi city flights and going from Boston to Chicago then to Denver and home to Boston is the cheapest search yet!! Go figure. You would think the price would be higher!

susea - there are quite a few hotel/motels within walking distance of the Rosemont and everything is close to O'Hare. Crown Plaza is directly across street from the venue. This site contains a map that lays things out and offers phone numbers for area hotels.
