I've just started to get on a few vines, only shows that I've never seen offered in trades or b&ps. If you sign up for one with a big list in front of you, chances are it will take awhile to reach you.

If you're looking for popular shows like ABB shows from this tour etc., try a request for a b&p, generally someone will be more than happy to copy one for you.

I'm very new here, haven't even got a vine in the mail yet. anyway, i've noticed that when I find a vine I really want chances are it was killed before it even got half down its list of people and sometimes I'll see that some of the vines are stopped on the same person. oh well, thats to be expected I guess.

How's this for an observation when you wrote this post you had been a member here for FIVE (5) days. One of which was a Sunday when no post office delivers. 99.9% of your posts so far are either joining vines (31) or posting ISO (3) of your 35 total to date (this is #35). Even if you had been the very next person in line on any of those 31 vines you signed up for chances are the mail wouldn't get to you yet.

Hey you're new. Relax. Good things come to those that wait. Until you prove yourself to be somebody who moves vines along in a timely manner I don't recommend you sign up for so many.

my observation is you should be 'overlooked'. don't come round here complaining cos you didn't get a vine in a couple of days.

patience is the key here, I have only been here a month myself but I am in hog heaven with all these freaking vines, like a kid in a candy store. In fact i got in four today and wish I didn't have to sleep so I could stack em up and listen all night. Also communication is very important, let the guy in front of you know you are next in line and then shoot a pm when you get it and another when you send it on down the line. It makes everything smoooooottttthhhhhh.

lets see... was I complaining about not getting vines in the mail? No. Was I complaining that vines should only have a turn around time of a day or two? No, not unless youre vining to your next door neighboor. But one would think that when a vine hasnt been updated since sometime in '06 and only half the people on the list actually got the thing that it is dead.

Yeah, I can see how someone might be a little weary because I'm new, but again I wasnt commenting on vines that havent been dead for at least 3 or 4 months. and i signed up for the vines that i did because i realize that they arent all going to get here over night, some have more people in front of me, people live different distances from me etc... not to mention that at least a couple of them will probably end up dead before they make it to me. not to mention that what i signed up for are the only things I'm interested in at the moment so i wasnt planning on signing up for anything else for awhile. i wasnt commenting on the forum as a whole, just a small few that seem to have killed at least a few of the vines that i looked at. Anyway, I apologize to whoever took offense to the original post for whatever reason which i honestly cant see why anyone would. it wasnt an attack at the forum, at any individual uses, it wasnt even an attack period. nor was i complaining. im not ignorant enough to think that a vine that i had only been signed up for for a couple of days AND has a lot of people in front of me on it would have already gotten here. believe it or not just because I'm new here doesnt mean I'm new to vining.

I'm observing Left to Starve is doing pretty damn good at moving vines along now that he's actually had some make it to him. Would make a Rebel proud

I hate this holyier than thou **** . Just because someone does not have 1000 posts
here they are not worthy of an opinion.

I've learned not to sign up for anything with more than 10 people in front of me.
